About a month ago I ate dinner with some friends at Cowgirl. I had the baby back ribs and they were outstanding.Everyone liked their food and we had a few craft beers that we very good. The ambience was excellent and the moodwas full of fun. However, I had a small dinner party and ordered baby back ribs about a week after that dinner. I arrived when they told me to arrive and the ribs were not ready and that I had to wait for my order. The wait staff didnot appear very helpful and I asked several times how my ribs were coming. After a good !/2 hour wait my order wasready and I took it home to my guests. I immediately served the ribs and other food i had prepared and everyone filledtheir plates and began to eat. Ugh, the ribs were tough, dry and and nothing like the baby back ribs I ate at the restaurant. The only thing that saved the night was my opening some of my expensive wine. Be advised.

Great happy hour; superior service. Surprised it has not been discovered by more locals. Bartenders can mix anything and have a well-stocked well. Lovely ambiance. What is BEST about it is that there is no background music and you can actually hear your companion. Inn-stayers frequently have dinner, which is a convenience, though we have found the food not particularly tasty, the reason for only four stars. It is five-star bar! Have some drinks and an appetizer.

Rio Chama Steakhouse

The service was excellent and the dood tasty, but very little variety of choice. The main differences were in the size of meat. Dessert was superb! Overall, given the lack of cuts of steak to choose from and the minimal sauces, butters, or other flavorings to go with the steaks, it seemed over-priced for the choices available.

This was a very pleasant experience for sure. But be certain to be there way ahead of time for the sunset. If you show up with just 1/2 hour to spare, you'll likely be disappointed. Also, I would recommend sitting at one of the tables rather than the balustrade - the view from the balustade seats is excellent, but the ugly rooftops on the neighboring buildings are extremely disturbing. Better not see them! Service and food/drinks were good.We are happy to hear that you were able to enjoy the sunset and that the service, food/drinks we on par! We hope that you will join us again soon and thank you for taking the time to post your review!

Harry's Roadhouse

Reviewed By NormanSantaFe

We go to Harry's often for breakfast, and always enjoy it. After we returned from a long trip yesterday, we decided to try it for dinner. We went about 5:45 in the evening and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Our table was a table for 2 in the bar, so it was quite noisy and our "neighbors" were quite close. My wife ordered the crab cake entree with a side house salad and fries, while I ordered the chicken quesadilla with a side chaser salad. She had a glass of "house" Chardonnay, while I had an IPA and the "house" Pinot Grigio. My wife's crab cakes were mushy, not crisp, and had so little taste we both thought they were mostly filler. After she finished the 1st one, she set the 2nd one aside, but I called the server, pointed out to him how mushy it was, and he took it away. Another server returned in a few minutes with a replacement, which was a bit crispier but still not very tasty. She thought the fries and side salad were fine, however. My quesadilla was a large portion with beans instead of chili. Chicken quesadillas typically are fairly bland, and this one fell into that category. My caesar salad seemed to be dressed with a hint of lemon rather than of garlic. Garlic being my preference and what I expect, that was disappointing to me. Too, it was quite small. Our tab before tip came to $59+ (each glass of "house" wine was $8.75). So with tip, dinner approached $75.Overall we were disappointed. However, Harry's is a really popular place and we've almost always enjoyed our breakfasts there, so in a few months we'll try it for dinner again and I'll update our POV.

Talked to us about all different kinds of tequila and made recommendations where we could go buy different brands in Santa Fe. The food was delicious and quite upscale at a reasonable price. We sat on the upstairs outside balcony overlooking the square. It was a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place.

We shared the ribs and chicken combo - delicious! Most definitely recommend, with something on the menu for everyone.
