Muchas Muchas Gracias.I had such a great time entering randomly in that Gastrobar at the end of my 40th birthday.While the manager gave me kindly directions information I realised there were warm authentic spaniards inside. As they figured out it was a special day, the Manager offered me a birthday cake and clients some drinks. Staff were dancing. Not too mention: chocolate toffee crema, tenerife cheese, and jamon olive very tasty. I am sure they decided to close later than expected :)

It's rare to find a gem - but the Venezia Cafeteria in La Laguna certainly deserves that accolade. This is a small Spanish bar-restaurant which throbs with atmosphere and should not be ignored by visitors to the enchanting old town on Tenerife.My partner and I were fortunate to discover Venezia during a pre-Christmas visit to the island. It was so good that we decided to make a return trip two days later - on Christmas Eve - and we could not have made a better decision.It was packed, of course, with families and friends all in celebratory mood. We chose the Tapas which included salad, calamaris, parma ham and other tasty specialities and all washed down with Dorada beer and Campari and soda. We sat on bar stools and and felt relaxed and privileged to be in such lively company. The staff work at double-speed and the small kitchen is a hive of activity. The orders came in regularly and the food was quickly served up to the hungry customers. There was rarely an empty chair as people came and went while the outside tables were popular with those sitting in the sunshine.It was a a great way to spend Christmas Eve and quite unexpected. This was a place with all the genuine flavour of Spain and it was with reluctance that we returned to our package-holiday hotel later that afternoon.It's a bar which is unpretentious but shouldn't be missed by anyone who goes to the old,quarter of this historically interesting town on Tenerife.

This bar/restaurant was a great discovery... the food was great - very original recipes for classic dishes, and the decoration is cool, even if you're not a motorcycle fan. There's also a huge selection of beers from around the world and ping pong! What's not to love?? The owner stopped by our table and was really cool, and gave us tips about places to see around Tenerife as well, which made me love this place even more!
