Walked in and didn't see a hostess so we waited a minute and then walked towards the dining room. Stood there for 10 seconds and turned around to see the hostess at the desk with her back to us. Walked back to the desk and tried to make light of the situation and she just had a sour look on her face and didn't say anything. I told her we were a party of 4 and she grabbed menus and walked away from me without a sound.... So we followed and she put the menus on the table, mumbled something and walked away. What a way to treat customers (who, by the way, were trying to be extremely friendly!)Then our server came to the table who was an incredibly nice guy with an outstanding personality and was very attentive! Made the rest of dinner time amazing for us. We each got different burgers and a couple beers and the food was actually pretty good. We avoided the $15 burgers and went with the $10 range.I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but for a burger and a beer when at the mall its just fine. If it wasn't for the awesome server I would never plan on coming here again thanks to that jerk of a hostess.

The Grill Next Door is a family owned & operated restaurant specializing in comfort foods and world class craft beer.
Came for dinner, left hungry! Ordered the Reuben and was presented with the driest shoe leather imaginable. I have had Reubens from the coast of Maine to the very tip of Cape Cod and this without question was the worst. The fried haddock that my wife had was good, and the French onion soup was passable, so, 1 star for each. Probably.not coming back.

After visiting a friend in Windham, he suggested we go here for some drinks and something to eat. We were really impressed, there was a singer on which heightened the atmosphere, and the food was excellent and portion sizes were huge! Alison the barmaid/waitress was very pleasant and gave excellent customer service. Highly recommended place to visit.

First time here. Food was delicious. My friend and I totally enjoyed it all. I had the fried haddock with sweet potato toters with the salted caramel dipping sauce. My friend had the "huge" burger (I could not believe how big it was!!) The McDonald's like burger. Fries were hand cut thin and crispy. The pretzel with the honey mustard was perfect for an appetizer. It is small so you may have to wait for a table. A full menu is served in the bar across from the dining room. I can't wait to go back!

Granfanallys is in a hard-to-see strip mall on Route 28 in Salem, New Hampshire, so we drove by it a hundred times without realizing it was there. Until our son-in-law was looking for good New York style pizza, and someone told him to try Granfanallys. He talked us into trying it, and it was really good. We also heard they have good burgers, so that's the next thing we want to try. It may end up being our go-to place for takeout. Prices are good, too.

Been waiting to try Pica's and glad I did. Although it was lunch time, we did not have to fight the lunch time crowd even though they were very busy. Nice pleasant pubby atmosphere although slightly loud but bearable. Waitress was easy and pleasant very helpful with suggestions and very attentive to the whole tables needs. Two couples. The food was outstanding. the four meals were, steak tacos, awesome. BLT wrap, very well done. Veggie burger, exceptional, and a stuffed meatball sub, meatballs as good as Nanna used to make, I kid you not. Beer is beer you have a hard time mucking that up. Total visit A plus. Might even become a regular spot. Can't wait to try dinner. If so I will post.

Welcome to your Salem Ninety Nine Restaurant where we have "A Passion To Serve." Come dine with us and check out our 9 Real Size Entrees for just $9.99 or come enjoy our Thursday Night Trivia at the bar.
Got seated just in time before the crowds showed, many with children in tow to take advantage of "kids eat free," if the Red Sox won their previous game (just as we did). Two of us ordered the Sundried Tomato Chicken Kabob Salad: basically a Mediterranean salad which was tasty, but the olives and dressing were too salty for my taste. The Crunchy Pickle BBQ Burger was enjoyed by one, and our grandson enjoyed his burger from the children's menu. All good meals, and a good deal for our grandson.Plenty of parking and full bar.Give a like please of this is helpful or you like the information. Thanks.

In 1984, local owners teamed up to open the first T-BONES Great American Eatery in Salem. Its success led to four more locations over the next two decades - Hudson, Bedford, Derry, and Laconia. More than 25 years later, guests still love the casual, famil
We were shopping in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We were so glad we did! The restaurant isn't fancy but the selection offered was excellent. It was very busy. Samantha, our waitress, was great! She brought over a loaf of hot bread which was to die for!! So much so that I ordered a loaf to bring home. OMG, it was so good!I had a Buffalo Sauce'wich' which was large and delicious! I especially loved the Bleu cheese sauce on the chicken. The Buffalo sauce was just right, too, not overly hot but just enough 'tang'. The homemade chips were a pleasant addition. My husband had a burger which he said was great. Sweet potato fries were great. Next time we're in the area it will be our lunch stop!We are so happy you stopped in! We hope to see you in again soon.

My husband and I stopped into the Blackwater Grille for a light dinner. We had been here years before when it was Loafers Restaurant. The new owners maintained the cozy feel in the bar, Homey and welcoming, lighting could have been brighter, however as it was a bit difficult to read the menu. Waitress was very attentive and food was delivered in less than ten minutes.I had the Harvest salad, It was huge and full of crisp lettuce, walnuts, dried cranberries, feta cheese, sliced pears and served with their homemade boursin dressing. My husband had a burger and fries. Both were very good.Live entertainment began at 7:00, we stayed for awhile to listen and were glad we did.

Stopped here with family for brunch. Some of us were looking for an egg style breakfast. Unfortunately, their menu is unique - not bad, just not what we were looking for. What we ordered was tasty.Thank you Roger for the review and the feedback. We appreciate it.
