My daughter treated me to the OLD Timer with extra cheese like my husband always liked...A good memory of him and it tasted really great. !! The service was excellent, atmosphere at the time we were there was very pleasant....The delicious dessert was Free with our coupon... the only issue was , we sat in a corner and the booth table was rather large for me to get close to the edge, but we had a good view... So enjoyable

Always a great value and atmosphere. A little loud, but you can't hear if a baby cries. Sports and action on ALL TV's. Full bar and beer choices. Kids play their tablets. Charging stations at most tables, plus a Military discount for Veterans. Nice. Get the Mango-Habanero Wings Extra Crispy.

The breakfast was included with my room rate and is one of the best hotel breakfast I have had. The servers sort you out with water and hot drinks and there is a large buffet with a great selection of hot and cold items, with a omelette bar by the seating area. It is possible to order off a menu, but the choice is so extensive, there is no need. The fresh fruit with the cereal is to be recommended.I am so pleased that you had a great experience in our Heirloom Kitchen for breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you back to Heirloom Kitchen and Bar next time you're in Rockwall!

We were driving to Dallas and wanted to have lunch someplace other than a chain restaurant in Rockwall. So we went to the waterfront area even though it was a cold day with not too much action around the shopping and restaurant areas. Inside, the laidback atmosphere was kinda of fun for a casual lunch and the menu had some authentic Cajun offerings. He opted for the shrimp mac and cheese which was good, but almost too rich of cheesy sauce that he asked me for a mint upon leaving. And the uniquely different chunky cole slaw was without any sweetness of a regular slaw. Edible though. I started with a side salad which was fresh and loaded with good produce. My blackened catfish with a side of etoufee had two nice size filets that were well seasoned and good, but the etoufee was nothing to write home about. If we'd had more time, I would've tried the oysters on the half shell or maybe another appetizer. Unfortunately, we won't go back when given the chance as there are too many dining options to consider one this over the top. Good prices and good service. Maybe a better bar spot with food thrown in.

I bet correctly that the Mushroom Swiss Burger that I was craving was going to be better here, and I was correct ! I sat at the bar as the place was winding down, but the service was good, the drink was decent, and the burger was definitely good. A good bet !

Visited after local recommendations and I didn't read the menu closely as the meat portions were large. I ordered 3 meats, lean brisket was excellent, pulled pork and the smoked turkey, with pickles and fries. I was quite hungry and only just managed to eat the box meal. Very good value for money, but the meat was lukewarm, maybe getting close to ending the food service? There is a good selection of beers, but having ordered a second beer, it never arrived, so I went to Dodies post meal to get that drink. There was an open mike event on, so quite loud with 6-7 musicians performing and a lively crowd.

Came in for brunch and it was a great experience except for one thing. The waitress was a little to laid back took forever to take out order and didnât give us a drink menu to start which also prolonged the wait. Other then the minor setback she was nice and the waffles are amazing. The waffles and waffle fries where amazing, great food overall.

I had the chicken with veggies skewers and they were delicious. I had a couple old fashioneds and they were perfect. I love this restaurant's outdoor patio in the trees which has a fireplace and heaters in the winter. I like the english style food. The Bangers and mash, shepherds pie and stew are all delicious.

I had the Charlie's burger and a chicken pesto Street taco and it was the best! Would recommend both of these! It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it.

Our hand-tossed pies are baked in a 900° wood oven. Our chefs then top them with organic ingredients, local produce and imported cheeses. Local favorites are the Truffle Pie with tartufo, potato, pancetta, rosemary and egg; the Standard with pomodoraccio
We love going here during our annual trip. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Long waits are typical. You wont be disappointed!
