This is my husbands favorite restaurant because the prices are much less than many other restaurants. They do have good food. It has always seemed kind of dark and dreary until this summer when they took down some interior walls to make it more open and let more light in from outside. They also got new tables and floors and it is really quite nice now. Weâve always had good service and delicious meals there.

It's hard to argue with success for one the most successful sports bar organizations in the area, but we should have known. Too loud (unless you like it that way), menu hard to read. Olive Burgers were dry and overcooked--who puts cheese over the olives with no mayonnaise anyway?? Tastiest part of the meal was U-fries (Uccello Fries- upcharge $1.99) which are soggy fries, but flavored by parmesan cheese, garlic butter, and garlic salt. It's in the 110 year old Hotel Maine building on main street, remodeled in contemporary décor and tile--which of course makes it echo more! If you like sports bars by all means go, but if you don't--don't.

I was excited about trying Rockford Brewing. My first impression when I sat down was kind of cute⦠We sat in the bar area⦠But from our seat we could see mop buckets and such right outside the kitchen. I ordered the hard cider lettuce wraps and turkey sandwich with fries. The hard cider was pretty stale tasting- but my husband loved his beer⦠An IPA. I donât know what to say about the lettuce wraps other than they were the worst Iâve ever had⦠They were hunks of tough beef on top of rice with kimchi. I make lettuce wraps and I order them whenever possible... skip these. The sandwich was OK⦠But the fries were overly salted and we did not eat them.

The atmosphere here is a very classy Wooden Lodge. I've been to many restaurants that go for the outdoorsy vibe, this place does it with style. It can definitely be a romantic dinner or a get together of buds kind of place. One of the best wooden decors I've seen. They have a limited lunch menu so I ordered the Turkey Chipotle Ranch Wrap with fries. The wrap was very good. A nice portion of turkey and a nice sauce with the mixture of ranch and Chipotle. The fries were average. Nothing bad, nothing great. The person I was with ordered a burger medium rare and had to send it back because it was close to well done. The 2nd version was cooked much better and the burger was said to be very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. Happily replacing the over cooked burger.Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Do to rounding it's a 4. It has the possibility of getting 5 but just wasn't quite there. Would I return? Absolutely.Thank you so much for the great review! I loved seeing all of the detail that you included. I have passed your comments about the burger onto our kitchen to make sure that we are cooking meats to the guests temperature choice. I'm so glad that the server took good care of you and we look forward to earning that last half of a star.Thank you again for taking your time to leave us a review. We hope to see you back again soon!

I had lunch here with 4 of my college alumni girlfriends on a rainy and cold fall day, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy and the service was top notch. Four of us ordered the Grilled Salmon Infusion and it was so delicious! I would go here again just for the entree. Prices are a bit on the high end at lunch, but the food is very special, so worth the cost.

With the soul of a snow-covered lodge and the repose of a sun soaked beach house, Bostwick Lake Inn sits aside the tranquil waters of Bostwick Lake on the outskirts of Rockford, Michigan. A century's worth of history and character can be felt amongst the
Our date night out brought us to Bostwick Lake Inn. We had a short wait since we requested to sit outside. The weather was nice enough to have sit outside on the massive lakeside deck. Metal patio tables and chairs, it was a really nice space. Interior seemed spacious too but I was mainly focused on getting out to the deck. Our wait staff was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. He recommended a blueberry cider which was really tasty. I had a house made vegan burger that was so good - held together perfectly! It was one of the better house made vegan burgers I have had. I was pleased to see other options available too. Our dining companions had the risotto which she completely finished and she really enjoyed. Her husband had a burger which he thought tasted more like a steak. Price is on par with most restaurants today.Overall our visit was solid and would consider visited again and can recommend if looking for some fantastic lake side views, friendly atmosphere and yummy food.Thank you for the great review. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed all of the options available and the food itself. We hope to see you again!
