We were at the bar on Saturday night when a thunderstorm blew through. There is no way to close off the open deck so everyone hunkered down together and had another beer. The bartenders were very nice particularly Jessie. The patrons were also very friendly. The storm was a bonding event. We had the crab dip with pretzels. The dip could use more crab.

Wheelhouse Restaurant is the newest addition to the food and drink scene. Docked right on the Chesapeake Bay, this trendy nautical hot spot provides farm-fresh food, fun and games, and a scenic overlook that will overall contribute to that warm and fuzzy
My husband and I had dinner here during a recent weekend trip to Rock Hall. We ate at the outside bar and the bartender was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was fun and lively with lots of outdoor games and music (good music selection but.......). We both had the brisket tacos which the bartender said was the best thing on the menu. While the fries were actually very good we were both disappointed with the tacos, not much meat, or anything else for that matter, including flavor. There were also a lot of flies, likely from the marshy area across the street, although it was very pretty. So, I would go back with friends for drinks and the games but would go somewhere else for dinner. I'm sorry that your experience wasn't what it should have been. The brisket tacos are great, and I hope you said something to the bartender so she could correct it. Next time please speak up of something isn't right.As far as flies... they've been horrible everywhere this year. We do what we can to battle them, but when you are sitting outside they do tend to appear the minute food comes out. I'm sorry about that. Good news is they've seemed to die off early this year.Please come in again and give Wheelhouse a second chance.

The Pearl on Main is a bistro style restaurant with a finer flare in the evenings bringing fresh local ingredients, local seafood, and new dishes to the menu. Signature dishes include sweet potato risotto with either grilled prawns or pan-seared scallops;
The Pearl came highly rated by locals as featuring the best local crab cakes. We ventured there for our anniversary dinner, but were sadly disappointed. The regular cook had apparently taken the night off and the food reflected a novice who didnt complete a quality check prior to send out the plates. My crab appetizer, billed as a twist on the classic crab with cocktail sauce using bloody mary mix was like a big glass of mix with crab floating around in it. It had the potential to be an innovative appetizer if the mix was thickened and the volume greatly reduced. I didnt know whether to drink it or eat it like soup! Then I had crab stuffed shrimp supposedly on a bed of tomato remoulade, but it was actually just sriracha sauce squeezed on the plate. The shrimp were all dried out, as if they sat out too long, I dunked them in my water but they were impossible to rehydrate. My husband had risotto prepared with the wrong rice that was very soupy and fairly bland. Lesson learned: when locals recommend a restaurant for a specific dish, get that dish!

While visiting Rock Hall, we had a recommendation by a local to go to BayWolf. We stopped by and had a great dinner and drinks (thanks Will for the cocktails). The special of the day was a 3 1/2 lb lobster which we should have ordered but did not. We had a seafood pasta dish that was a winner and scallops dinner. Yum Yum. Thanks Danny for the great service.

Terrible!Well with the exception of the always excellent location overlooking the harbor: Our usual Harbor Shak was closed so we opted for Waterman's. Slow service, mid week in October; No Crabs?, it's supposed to be a CRAB House. We started with 1 doz. of oysters on the half shell and 1/2 doz. oysters Rockefeller. All were laced with pieces of shells....somebody in the kitchen needs to learn how to shuck an oyster. 2 in the party ordered oyster po boys, both of which were tasteless and bland. I got the prime rib sandwich, open faced, which was full of gristle, while the 4th in our party ordered a burger which got no complaints that I heard, but then who can hurt a burger right? Top it all off with a lunch for 4/ @ $132.00 with only 2 beers, 3 ice teas and with tip; we certainly won't be back soon. The reviewers from out of state might accept a sub par/over priced meal (even with slow service), but us locals know good seafood when we have it, and Waterman's just does not deliver in terms of price or product!

We are beginning our Fall schedule on September 26th, 2019. We are open Thursdays through Sundays. We offer a diverse menu of Local seafood, steaks, burgers, sandwiches and Mexican fare. There is a full bar with beers on tap, bottled and frozen specialtie
I recently visited this restaurant. Unfortunately I had just eaten so I didnât order any food. Rather, my husband and I had a beer and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Iâm looking forward to returning next time for a meal. The atmosphere is great and the service was friendly.
