Riobamba (Spanish pronunciation: [rjoˈβamba], full name San Pedro de Riobamba) is the capital of the Chimborazo Province in central Ecuador, which is located at the Chambo River Valley of the Andes. It is 200 km (120 mi) south of Ecuador's capital Quito and located at 2754 m on the Avenue of the Volcanoes. The city is an important regional transport center as well as being a stop on the Pan-American Highway that runs through Ecuador. Riobamba stands as one of the largest cities in the central portion of Ecuador's Sierra region.

Abby Road is a standard bar, What sets it apart from other's in Riobamba is it's lower price on mixed drinks, use of real cheese on the nachos, and nice terrace seating to watch the world go by on the Avenue. It's a little dark and loud if you are looking for a place to socialize, but I frequent this with my friends and we always have a nice time. Good for bigger groups.Be warned, you pay as you drink, the waitress takes your money when she delivers your drinks.

If you are looking for traditional American food, Fogon is for you. The nachos are particularly good, and burgers are above average for Ecuador. Don't eat here if you want to experience traditional Ecuador. The brownies are also some of the most American desserts that I have ever had in Ecuador.

Almost opposite the train station , attached to a Hotel (same owners ? ) this very modern art decorated pub is opened every day from 5,30 pm. they have their own brewed three beers on tap (ALE, STOUT ), several other from bottle and nice Chili wines, the small menu reads Chili Con Carne, Tacos , German Sausages. Food is good and served on huge wooden boards. Staff is young and friendlyAll very trendy One of the very few real pubs / cafes in Rio Bamba

Retro American style bar located below street level. Cool interior, very friendly staff. We arrived with a large group and were seated straight away after rearranging some chairs. Bar type food and drinks flowed throughout the evening. Small stage for live music. A good place to start, enjoy or end the evening. Located just off of the "main drag" in Riobamba and directly across from the park.

Baltimore is the best restaurant in Riobamba, Ecuador,It has a wide variety of american food! Don't get me started on the atmosphere, When you want to catch a sports match this is the place to be with your friends!I'm from CT, and i'm a huge fan of BUFFALO WINGS, Baltimore has over 7 different flavors ranging from spicy to sweet. Baltimore has many beers!THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE FRIDAY NIGHT'S WITH YOUR BOYS, WATCHING THE KNICKS BEAT ON THE RAPTORS!
