Inspired by its origins on our horse ranch, but more comfortable than the little brew shed and tack room that served as our original tasting room, the Stone Corral taproom, brewery, and restaurant, offer a comfortable place to relax and enjoy great beer,
Stopped here after a visit to the Huntington Gorge. Had some beers, the soft pretzel, and an amazing salad. The food was excellent. Beer, too. And the service was fast and attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.Hi Lancaster1017, thanks for the excellent review. We love the Huntington Gorge too! We hope to see you again!

See photo. $17 for Shrimp Scampi and the portion was terrible. The food here is really good but for the price of this meal, it was terribly disappointing. I was absolutely shocked and bummed.

The service was very good. Prompt attention upon arrival and almost immediate response by server once we were seated.Friendly staff, too. Very nice menu selections. Broad local VT craft beers choices. Our food was prepared very well. Baked New England style haddock for me, with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. The haddock was prepared very nicely in a wine sauce. If there is a negative it is the speed of the service. Our food came out very quickly after our drinks were delivered. I had taken a couple of sips for example. I prefer not to drink beer with the meal, but before as a relaxation method. Because of the fast delivery time, the restaurant lost out on a two drink order form us.

My husband and I had early dinners at the Vermont Tap House in Williston, Vermont on Wednesday, August 21st and Thursday, August 22nd, while we were staying in South Burlington. We enjoyed the steak and cheese sandwich, which was huge, the wood fire pizza, and the Green Mountain Salad, which was very fresh with Vermont grown ingredients. Everything was nicely prepared with generous servings. The selection of beers was also very good. . , The service was also quite good and the seating was comfortable in nice booths. In addition, there was free parking convenient to the restaurant. We found this restaurant a good alternative to dining in Burlington, where you have to pay to park and there may be heavier traffic. We recommend this restaurant for a variety of different entrees and would go back again.
