Reviews on Bar food in Rarotonga, Southern Cook Islands, Cook Islands. Sipping coconut milk while bargaining for handmade jewelry and swaying your hips to live music—just another Saturday morning in Rarotonga. After a few hours of checking out the wharf-side Punanga Nui Market, hit the beaches of this reef-protected volcanic island. There are plenty of picturesque lagoons that allow peaceful swimming or snorkeling, and moonlit strolls along the East Side sands are pure magic. Raro Safari Tours are a popular way to explore the island’s vivid rainforest.

The Cook Island's most iconic dining destination. Stunning views over the south pacific. Come in and dine with us on our al fresco deck or join our friendly team at the Vaka bar for an icy cold tap beer or the best cocktails on the island.
After reading that this place was a must visit we tried it for dinner what an absolute disappointment, compared to everywhere else we ate on our holiday it is very overpriced, I ordered the Asian slaw with teriyaki chicken what I got was an undressed coleslaw with no flavour and chicken that was so dry it was inedible, four of our party had steak and it was all horribly overcooked. At $40 a steak we expected it to at least be cooked properly. The cocktails were so full of ice and mint there was barely any liquid. We wish we had never wasted our time or our money

Open-air restaurant open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Casual dining at affordable prices. Reservations recommended for dinner. Ask about Friday Happy Hour and Sunday BBQ dinner.
I had all three meals since I was staying at Palm Grove where the restaurant is located. Breakfast was simple...fresh fruits, bread, hardboiled eggs, baked items, cereal, yogurt, tea and coffee. I had the fish chowder for lunch which filled me up and I also attended the Sunday bbq. Several buffet items to choose from and on my last night I enjoyed one of the nightly specials, a great seafood dish! Spot on for meals if you plan to lounge on the beach all day and not go anywhere.

Coco putt - Sunday night they have a buffet with local food including pork - you havenât tried pork or chicken until youâve tried this ! A fish pasta and a delicious noodle dish plus salads etc. the desert has a Raro banoffee and passion fruit cheeecake. All in dinner and mini golf is $45 a head plus drinks. Make sure you book a table, get there early and buy either jugs or bottles of wine as itâs very popular and can sell out. Local musician, fun music, great people and there will be a mix of locals and tourists - great afternoon / night

We have dined at the Muri Beach Club Hotel, SIlver Sands Resturant on many occasions. The food is delicious and the price for this type of mean is what you would expect to pay in a Sydney resturant. The price of the drinks is a bit expensive, a $9 Corona which is $3 down the road in the local Tem Store. The live entertainment, Mr Peter Morgan, is well worth the price of the meal. He is a consummate professional who plays passionately Jazz and Blues songs and takes requests. We will be back at the Silver Sands next visit. Kia Orana MrsSparkly1Thank you for your review. Lovely to hear that you enjoyed dining with us and listening to Peter Morgan. Hope to see you again.Meitaki Maata,

We had the best experience at the Island night buffet - we had a lovely table on the sand just outside the covered area which was perfect as the music is quite loud inside the covered/buffet area. The host was hilarious, the food was incredible and the dance group was just stunning.

The Shipwreck Hut is an awesome little beach bar situated right on the sand at the Aro'a Beachside Inn, overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunning sunsets while sipping one of our famous "jam-jar cocktails". We also offer
You couldn't call this a restaurant, we went there on our first night , it's a short walk, and it used to be good ,we have been to raro 10 times now.the meal was absolute rubbish my wife had the worst nachos in the world. We went back on bbq night, the food was disgusting ,oily vegetables, dry and tough meat, and not cheap ,nothing good. The previous owners were good.Kia Orana,Thank you for your review. It is really hurtful and disheartening when we get a review like this as we try so hard to give our guests the best possible experience. Fortunately reviews like this are very rare. You are correct, we are not a restaurant, we are a small beach bar and occasionally we drop the ball, so we are very sorry that you didn't enjoy your time at the Shipwreck Hut.It was a real shame that you didn't say anything at the time.Kia manuia,Steve, Geraldine and the A Team.

The HULA BAR is Rarotonga's iconic all-day everyday happy hour bar featuring international-brand beers, spirits, wines, and soft drinks priced at NZD3.50 each. Located on the waters edge, this watering hole offers absolute beachfront views of the Pacific
Amazing drinks and really well priced. They have a great buffet for lunch for $15 this has a good selection with lots of authentic food. This was one of the best value meals we found on the island. We came back twice. It is across the road from the airport. We checked out of our Air bnb and got dropped here. They stored our luggage for around $5 a bag and we sat by the bar and had a few drinks and lunch whilst we waited for our flight.Thank you for spending the day with us. We hope to see you again.
