Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Quepos. Quepos, a small town in Puntarenas province, is located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast and is undoubtedly one of the best places in the world for big game sport fishing. However, Quepos also offers vacationers a wealth of other activities to do as well. The nearby plaza has many fine restaurants, art galleries and souvenir shops, most within a short walking distance of your beachfront vacation rental. Book an exhilarating canopy tour, go horseback riding, kayaking and rafting. Learn to surf or watch the surfers ride the waves; you’ll wonder at their athleticism.

Food was good but pricey for what you get. Service was terrible! Had a waiter who was so unconcerned with us that at one point, after trying to get his attention to refill our drink orders, he looked straight at us and then just walked away to stand at the other corner of the restaurant looking out at the beach. We ended up just walking to the bar to reorder sodas and have a refill of water. The food was delicious but also the most expensive meal we have had our entire trip! Mind you, there were just 2 of us and we ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 drinks each. Total came out to around $65. The waiter also added a beer (which we never ordered) to the check and I had to agrue to have it removed. There are plenty of great places to eat in the area with better prices and much more attentive sevice. Best to skip El Sol and look around elsewhere.

The Quepos landmark is now part of the modern and beautiful Marina Pez Vela. More the a great restaurant, it's the ultimate fisherman's hangout. With a fantastic view of the Pacific and the marina, a superlative menu, and a cliente list that consists of t
Always love eating (or drinking) at places that look out over water or marinas. This place was no exception. The food was also very good. I had the rice chicken with black beans and fried plantain. Large portions and full of flavor. Well worth a stop.

We went here twice at the recommendation of others but weren't wild about anything. The drinks were super sweet and food was roadhouse or even food court quality. i'm not saying it was all bad but it was not high quality.

Open air restaurant , located near by parking lots and just 50 meters from Manuel Antonio national park main entrance.
We came here on the advice of our tour guide for the park. Apparently they were short staffed and perhaps that explained the low quality of our service. The food was very good and we had no complaints there. However, not one service person greeted us or offered a smile. Clearly we were in the way and left as soon as we finished our meals. Unfortunate.

Super fun place with an endless variety of chicken wings. Leroy the owner performs a rap song about all the different flavors when there's live music. I order mine without the breading and they kindly accommodate. They serve "cauliflower" wings for vegetarians.

The staff at the Rico Tico restaurant located within the Si Como No Hotel was top notch. We had the pleasure of getting to know Jorge, Marcela, Oscar and Allen during our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. The service provided by them made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed. The drinks were delicious, breakfast was excellent every morning and the local monkeys entertained us very morning.Greetings from majestic Costa Rica. We truly appreciate you taking the time to write such detailed reviewThank you for names of the employees that left a good impression on you. We will make sure to let them know their great job is being acknowledged so they can feel proud. Greentique Hotels

Latin restaurant with a good atmosphere, with the best view of Manuel Antonio and excellent food and service.
Beautiful view, great location and delicious food! We started during hour and were pleasantly surprised with 2 for one drinks. The tuna steak was some of the best we had ever eaten and prompted another visit the next night. People in our party had shrimp scampi, ribs, blackened catch of the day and tuna steak. All were exceptional!

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and ended up at Cafe Agua Azul twice. There were so many different options on the menu that we wanted to try that we ended up going back. The food and service was excellent both times.

Tule Cafe is the restaurant within the Tulemar Resort. We serve a menu spanning Costa Rica to Dr. Mercola and if you hook it we'll cook it! Let us know if you have any special requests and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
I agree with the rave reviews of the cafe. One thing I will add is that we had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. The added bonus was the visit from 4 sloths our first evening! The staff spotted the first ones and told everyone about it. You get views, wildlife, good food and excellent staff. If youâre staying outside Tulemar, I recommend trying to come to the cafe as a top pick in the area. Not sure if you can??
