We frequented this eatery just a few days ago, and were delighted with a wonderful dinner. The meal options were plentiful for meat eaters and for those preferring a no meat option. Both were of high quality and great taste. The price was reasonable for the location and for the cost of the items. The staff was wonderful and the location of the restaurant was fantastic, as it was very close to the main Rambla but cafe enough away for a little break from the Punta craziness. I would recommend trying it out- if an option arises.

The town was full of Easter visitors from Buenos Aires and Montevideo so we couldn't find a restaurant without a long line for lunch. We came upon this small restaurant that was busy, but no line, and decided to give it a try. It is right by the beach and the waves were crashing in on a stormy day = beautiful. Service was good, the wine was good, and the food was good.

Very pleasantly surprised at the good range of draught and bottled artesanal beer at reasonable prices I.e. tap beer $160 a pint and $200 for a 500ml bottle. This compared VERY FAVORABLY with Bigote Patagonia (Industrial beer) across the street which charged $200 for a 250ml tap serving of their mediocre beers. Service was prompt and the couple of starters we ordered were good. We arrived at 9pm and found seats at some barrels but most of the tables were pre reserved. By 10pm the place was full and by 1030pm people were queuing to get in.

We went for lunch outside facing the beach. The lenguado fish was very well prepared and the rocket salad incredible. Caramelized brie and chicken with vegetables cooked in a wok was the plates my friends chose and they were very satisfied. Pudding was a typical Uruguayan desert called Massini which is like a cold cake which is excellent.

We came to this place for dinner spontaneously one night and could not have been more thrilled. The outdoor seating in nestled among trees hung with pretty lights. Itâs incredibly romantic. You feel separate from the other diners but the service is extremely attentive.The dishes are more tapas style so sharing is recommended. The cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were delicious.We had some of the best steak weâve EVER had here. So tender and perfectly cooked. Even the spiced nuts and brie cheese appetizers were top-notch. The desserts were absolutely amazing.I canât recommend highly enough!!
