We found this to be not just a nice place and really friendly and helpful staff but the food was excellent, reminding me of paralleling Steersons Steak house in Lime Street, Darling Harbour, Sydney, maybe here a little more informal. We were able to combine it with happy hour for drinks and they had special packages Monday and Tuesday. The desserts were also excellent.

Welcome to the Railway Hotel, where quality food, beer and wine has been served since 1856. Enjoy a meal 7 days a week, in Melbourneâs premier courtyard (beer garden), or cozy up by one of our three fire places. Never been to the Railway? Come on down and

Gramercy Social is an New York inspired all day eatery and bar.
While the menu promises good American fare, I've learned that very few places can replicate American fare like the Americans. There may be burgers and shakes etc on the menu here, but it doesn't come close to the tastes in the US.I'd wanted to come here for a long time and was excited about my visit, but left quite disappointed. From the minute you walk in, there's no "direction" to your table. We had a booking, but we could pick anywhere to sit and it wasn't so obvious if it was better to sit inside, or in the inside/outside section. We ordered starters and mains. Yet for some reason I'm still trying to fathom, the entrees were put down in front of us, and then she turned around to put the main meals down too. I mean, what kind of "good" restaurant does that?? The starters weren't sides ... Anyways, the mac 'n cheese balls weren't nice to me. They had a bit of a kick to them, which was clear on the menu, but still a bit too much kick to enjoy the flavour of the cheese. The burger was ok; just your regular no frills cheeseburger. But the fries were too salty and not overly hot. The potato salad was ok, but just couldn't eat it all because it was all laid out on the table together and therefore too crowded to enjoy one thing at a time. You're trying to get to everything before the rest gets cold. There were onion rings that were overcooked, but had some flavour at least. In all fairness, when the guy who took our order cleared the table, he did try and apologise for the mix up, but considering we'd had unfinished food sitting in front of us for 15-20 minutes because no one came to clear away sooner, we just asked for the bill and got out of there.Plus sides; clean, modern and roomy restaurant. Food came out in timely order. Would have loved to have tried dessert, but wasn't sure it would be the redeeming feature I was hoping for. Overall, glad I tried Gramercy Social, but I have honestly had better meals/burgers in other restaurants.Thank you so much for dining with us, Angie. We appreciate you taking the time to write us a detailed review about your experience at Gramercy Social.I apologise for the staff brining you your entrees served as sides. It sounds like this was not made clear when the staff took your order and that is something we will follow up with to ensure consistency and clarity of all orders. I can imagine your disappointment. It sounds like it was an off day for us. We value each and every customer that dines in our restaurant and it's our goal to make sure everyone is well fed, satisfied and leaves on a positive note.We just introduced some new items to the menu last week, and would love to invite you back to see if we can exceed your expectations.Wishing you all the best and thank you for your feedback.

An iconic cafe full of beetle memorabilia serving good Aussie tucker. My Abbey Road breakfast was large and tasty but lacked creativity and our other dishes were ok but not brilliant. The fresh fruit smoothies were good. Service was good and pricing was reasonable.

What would be a great spot to enjoy your night is felt extremely rushed and spoiled by their ridiculous time-limited (1.5 hour) seating. How they believe this is a good business model is beyond me. My partner and I were looking to order many food items as well as spend copious amounts on drinks, but this was not possible under their seating rules. Felt more like a âMaccaâsâ drive through than a proper establishment. Great cocktails, but expect to only have one and done. Food is subpar. Cheers.Hello Aronneramodirosa, Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to Eau-de-Vie and sorry to hear you had an underwhelming experience. As a high volume cocktail bar we allow a 90minute seating time to ensure people can get into the venue without having to queue too long for a table. I feel that 90 mins is enough time to consume at least 3 cocktails and food from our al a carte menu. We would love to speak with you in more detail regarding your 1 star rating. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] if you would like to discuss further.
