Reviews on Bar food in Porto Seguro, State of Bahia, Brazil. Porto Seguro is as vibrant as any part of Brazil. A schooner will take you from the bank of the city's Buranhem River 15 miles out to the Recife de Fora Marine Park for an exploration at sea. A city stairway will guide you up to the Cidade Historica to take it all in from above, alongside Capoeira demonstrations. And the Passarela Do Alcool, a street fair filled with craft carts, restaurants and enthusiastic performers will invite you to participate in Brazil's cultural tradition.

Cabana Grande is one of the best beach "Barraca" in Arraial. If the place is not the best one as the beach is quite small compared to those of Pitinga, the food is excellent. Caldeira of sea food is just excellent. All this listening to quite good live music. THe service is efficient and friendly

ITALIAN Restaurant and Pizzeria. Open from 11.30 am from 23.00. Italian and Brazilian food from 11.30 - 16:30, Italian Food - Italian Pizza from 18.00 to 23.00.
Sometimes you just have a pleasant surprise! This was our experience at the Cantinetta. It is a little pizzaria tucked into a nice corner of the entry to Trancoso´s busy tourist district. The location was nice and atmosphere attractive - so we entered. The service was immediate and friendly. Best of all was the pizza - this is real authentic Italian pizza - thin crust - and most importantly saboroso - tasty - not over done on flavor - but perfect. To me the measure of a pizzaria in Brazil is how well they make the Margarita - we had two pizzas - the Margarita and the Calebreza - it was absolutely the BEST Margarita I have ever experienced. It was the first Calebreza that my wife has loved. The way of tucking the sliced tomato under the cheese - perfect basil seasoning and excellent crust! It was unbelievable! They have excellent brazilian fruit juices or other drinks to go with the pizza - we tried several juices - and loved them. The crepe which we ordered for dessert was outstanding and we left very very happy - wanting to return. From the brick oven which is positioned near the entry - to the covered pergola in the back and varied comfortable tables placed around the open air restaurant - to the well mannered staff and excellent cook - to the last moment with the chef - who we wanted to thank - we LOVED the Cantinetta - the person who had a bad experience here - probably doesn´t have a taste for real italian food! This was fantastic! Thanks we will be back.

Its a nice beach for swimming, no coral, the restaurant is nice but kind of expensive like everywhere so whatever. No 600ml beers to save you money but they do have a 5 beer longneck special that will save you some cash.

Great hamburgers with rock star names. Well served with price! We were there one night and enjoyed a lot so we came back again the next day! Good music, good food, good service! I recommend it!

Interesting and unusual combinations in the worlds largest sandwich (go hungry) - worth sharing a few between you to sample the excellent selection. Lively atmosphere, good drinks and friendly(ish) staff, but above all very good value for what you get. Not to be missed in amongst all the overpriced food joints in already expensive Trancoso.

My husband and I were excited after reading all the good comments about this place, so we decided to have a go. We ordered a light fish (dourado grelhado) with vegetables and mashed potatoes. After waiting for a little while the dish came. The fish was overcooked and to our surprise the mashed potatoes was nothing near the real thing. I went to the till to pay as the waiter didn't take any notice when my husband called him, complained about the taste of the potatoes and then they told us that they use the powder made by Knorr... I would NEVER set foot in that place again and we paid R$91.00 (they gave us a R$6.50 discount) for something that even gave my husband an upset stomach!!!If I want powder meal I can go to the nearest supermarket in Porto Seguro!

The Caminho dos Mares Square is a relly nice place, with several options of food and beverage and a band playing alive. So, some of the restaurants try to offer better place/views of the stage. The Armazem is on of this places, the have good food (squid and shrimp) but the price, quantity are not fare and the staff is bad, really, except for Debora who save the night with her way and attention. About the chopp, I really do not recommend.

Vovó Bela Restaurante, Bar, Brasilian Food, Sea Food and Steak House. Promotion plates. Vegetarian and Vegan options.
Tasteless food. Plates different from the pictures. More rice than anything else. Asked for grilled chicken with rice, beans, salad and French fries and it came two little pieces of chicken and big portion of rice. My friend asked for carne de sol and it came in little pieces with huge amount of fat (40% of the amount). Very disappointed. We would never go back. Beers are cold but very expensive. Extremely bad experience. Not recommended. Tourist trap. We really made mistakes with you. We apologize for the inconvenience. We worked with fewer employees and the customer movement was much higher than expected. It was an exception and we were sad to have been with you. Sorry
