Reviews on Bar food in Port Vila, Efate, Vanuatu. In this nation of tiny islands and indigenous villages, Port Vila is the exception: a bustling port town with hotels, restaurants and markets to delight visitors and cruise ship passengers. The 150-foot-high Mele Cascades waterfall is the ideal place to refresh yourself in the South Pacific heat. For a glimpse of real Vanuatu culture and traditions, travelers say a trip to Ekasup Village is a must.

A sensational location right on the harbour in Port Vila. It is where the locals and visitors meet for a cold Tusker , a glass of wine or a meal and a coffee, watch the sunset, and listen to live music. If that's not enough to wet your appetite then check
Have been going to Anchor Inn each year since 2008 sometimes twice a year it was always full of people including locals and the previous staff were awesome. we were there last Saturday1/10/17 and was VERY DISAPPOINTED no atmosphere, food was ok, staff not friendly an as for the conversion to Aussie $$$$ they are a big rip off everywhere else including supermarkets were giving 80c to the Vatu but the staff were only doing 70c. Sadly this has been my last trip to the Anchor Inn and I will not be promoting to friends and family again

Whatever Your dining style is,There's a fabulous restaurant waiting to offer you a stunning water Vista along with an exquisite Meal sourced from our local farmers market.
Was attracted by specials board offering Fish and chips with bonus âfreshâ orange juice. Ordered the fried Basa and grilled Tuna. Tuna was dry, basa and surrounding batter was full of oil and very greasy. OJ was something of an orange color in water. No sign of pulp or anything else such as taste, that would make you think it was a freshly squeezed OJ. The chips were half reasonableSetting next to the port looking out at Iririki Is was good and the staff were smiling and helpful, unfortunately the food needs major attention. At least i could use their free wifi to post this review.

Moorings Hotel offers a fully licensed restaurant & bar open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lead by Chef Evanne Kerr and his team, our international fusion menu is sure to please all diners as we deliver dishes bursting with flavours and unique
The layout is very open at this restaurant and there are multiple different outside areas to sit, depending how you feel. The service is very professional, friendly and interactive. I ordered a traditional âbougnaâ which is a coconut cream dish, however on the menu it came with chicken. I asked if I could have a vegetable version and they adapted the dish for me, which was amazing of them - As if it wasnât for that, I wouldâve of ended up having sides because there wasnât any vegan dishes on the menu!

Good food at a good price, Wood Fired Pizza Oven, Gourmet Burgers, Home Made Pasta's. We show all major sporting events on big screens TV's and are located opposite the Grand Hotel. The home to the Nambawan Brewery - Vanuatu's best range of Tap and Bottled
Recommend this venue for a casual and relatively inexpensive (for Port Vila) option. Good beer selection - daily specials - food was good and what would be expected of this venue and price point - and if it appeals you can watch sport - as it is essentially a sports bar with televised events on the various screens. The pizza specials for 1000vt seemed very popular and they also use a proper wood fire oven - so none of these frozen base type things you see served up around the place.

Outstanding steaks (like most beef in Vanuatu) with good flavour. Relaxed atmosphere, looks over road to beach. There may be more upmarket restaurants with white linen however a steak and beer here is delightful and filling. The steaks are the menu item representing best value for money. Staff efficient and courteous

The Waterfront Bar & Grill is a great place to meet friends, new or old. The fully stocked bar is a popular watering hole for visiting yachts, tourists, and local residents. It is one of the most active night spots in Port Vila. You can dance to a live ba
We came here 15 years ago with kids. This time just a couple we remembered how good it was and werenât disappointed. Plenty of knowledgeable staff, quick service, absolutely GREAT food, cold beer, lots of choice for non seafood eaters like my husband who enjoyed beef curry and I loved my delicious grilled snapper. The atmosphere is what clinches the deal for what must be one of the best restaurants in Vanuatu . Lights, world flags, the mains and yachts meters in front of you in the open air restaurant. Nice live music, that guy has a great voice, and just ticks every box. Well done! Located not far from the grand hotel and casino on the waterfront

Went in here for drinks on a Friday night. Great music, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Can play pool for free and they have some great drinks deals. Didn't eat here but the menu looked good, as did all the food coming out of the kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Nambawan is a relaxing water side cafe - built using local materials alongside the Arts and Craft Market. It has cafe fair, with a juice bar using only fresh ingredients (no concentrates or canned juices) and only imported fruits when not in season.
We wanted a light lunch so ordered a Crocque Monsieur and a Crocque Madame. Just what was needed. Nice to enjoy into shade looking at the harbour views

A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beer garden. Sit
