Iâve been here on a few occasions, and it always a pleasant experience. The food is consistently of a high standard, although not always perfect. The presentation is good, the atmosphere is relaxed and the variety of beer is good. If you sit inside, it is not particularly noisy and easy to converse with dinner mates.

Have heard good things about Bushrangers and we were not disappointed. Nice decor and good tasting food. A busy restaurant with full pub service. Would be happy to head back to try the more âclassyâ items offered on the menu, but we were not disappointed with our steaks, salad and chips.

Super quick visit for an after dinner night cap. Really busy and popular hotel with beautiful relaxed decor. As weâd already eaten we were only planning a quiet drink before going back to our hotel ... the dishes being served at surrounding tables looked spectacular. The wine list was very impressive and I was very happy to see a favourite vineyard from a trip to orange (angullong) had multiple offerings. The shared dessert of sticky date pudding was the best weâve ever had

Maybe I expected too much, driving past this outstanding building for years Iâd always thought...Iâll go there one day. Well we did& it was all good pub food. No complaints, plenty to choose & staff were obliging. Inside the building is charming.

Rolled in here later in evening wished we had found it earlier. Great cocktails, great staff and music, not too loud either, thanks Toby and Toni. Well must say the head waitperson and a fantastic bubbly waitress made the night , so polite and sooooooo good at their jobs . They are both a fantastic asset to the restaurant . Now to the food I had lamb just perfectly cooked a lovely pink colour and the presentation on the plate would have done a 5 âï¸ restaurant proud ... zucchini flowers were a little on the small size , but tasty . All in all a great mealIn nice surroundings. Not noisy like most hotels and great team members .. WELL DONE

We were a very large group at a post wedding get together. A huge challenge for any kitchen when 90odd people arrive at the same time. The food was excellent, perfectly timed too . Not sure how they managed to cook so many steaks so well in a short space of time. Good service. It deserves its reputation.

One of Newcastle's hippest places for a Sunday session and feed. Our group of 6 all enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, entertainment JJ was cool , multiple drinks from the Grain Store beer menu number on menu was 20 excellent beverages, whiskeys, and the perfect cooked feed, go the ribs and wings with chipsWell worth the visit, no need to book on weekend, just stroll on in and relax.
