Someone had suggested this Pub which is located on Sproat Lake. It is an old house which has been transformed into a pub with a large outdoor deck overlooking Sproat lake. We managed to get a great seat outside on the deck on a beautiful warm afternoon. About an hour after arriving it appeared that the local young adults all started to show up and were very loud and obnoxious. We had our 2 younger kids with us and there was quite a bit of inappropriate things being said.Too bad, as it left a bad taste for the pub/restaurant

Inside however is a different story, well laid out dining area with an attached patio. Menu contains something for everyone. Table service was fantastic, food and drinks arrived promptly and everything tasted great, prices were reasonable and the portions large. We would return for sure to this property.

Such a wonderful server we had! Our appetizer of cactus fries had a spicy kick to it. The cheese on the hamburgers as not melted to it. The Alfredo with shrimp was on the bland side, though the shrimp were deemed to be succulent. The vegetables with hummus were good served with a heap of crisp wedges (pizza crusts maybe?). A birthday celebration brownie was warm and tasty. The restaurant is family friendly. The attentive service was the highlight.Hi, there. We had a little snack and a beer here on our way to Tofino -- very nice service (thanks Sarah), the beer is good and the salad was also good but maybe a bit pricey. The folks in there were nice, we had some good chats at the bar. Will definitiely stop there again next time I come to P. A.!We were delighted to meet you both. Went there tonight for our anniversary and we were not impressed. I ordered the spicy prawn pasta-it was under cooked and floating in sauce, My wife ordered the steak neptune in lobster sauce- nasty and over cooked.Do not slow cook a new york strip slow turns into a boot just saying. It was pretty quite tonight and the service sucked slow moving they didn't ask us about refilling our beverages. But I do love that salad,
