This restaurant is in an old west looking set of buildings and has an old west feel although not âoldâ. There arenât that many restaurants in Heber-Overgaard to chose from and even fewer if itâs after 7pm. The restaurant and bar area were both very full on this Thursday evening. The bar area serves meals too and has a patio area so you can chose which side you prefer. We found a high table in the bar. At first we were greeted by an overwhelmed server who told us to sit wherever we could find room and someone would get to us eventually that they were short staffed. It was a weird greeting and we almost left but a nice couple at a table told us the food would be worth the wait so we decided to stay and order a drink first. Fortunately that server was not our server, the other server working the restaurant area came right away and took our drink orders as well as made food suggestions. All potions are large. He was very nice and very attentive. The fried zucchini was really good but really large even for 2 people sharing. The chicken wings were large and meaty, perfectly prepared. We also split a southwest salad that used house smoked chicken that was very flavorful. Weâd probably eat here again if we are in this area despite the surly greeting by the first server.Parking good.

Fun. Food. Booze. Huge outdoor patio. 20,000 Sq. Ft. Outdoor recreation area with horseshoe pits, corn-hole boards, giant jenga, etc. Pool tables. Internet Jukebox. Best burgers and cheese steak sandwiches on the Mountain.
The Cabin is a friendly, casual bar & grill in Heber/Overgaard. Companion & I were impressed with the food & the friendly staff. Homemade cole slaw, potato salad & beans were a treat, compared to prepackaged salads at many other places. The tasty fried fish was crisp and had NO grease at all! It was delicious. The fries were just as crisp and not greasy at all. A Saturday afternoon/evening special of BBQ ribs were tender and flavorfulThe Cabin has a wide selection of drinks. Complimentary popcorn is available at a self serve station. This is a a great spot for a fun, relaxed afternoon or evening.Thank you so much for your review!

I love stopping here, but last Monday we escaped into the Red Onion from a heavy snowstorm that we ran into. In late May, in Arizona! Bless them for providing us with shelter, warmth and excellent burgers and fries. Service was just outstanding, Prices are very reasonable. Sides are huge, so order one to share. We ran out the door as soon as there was a real in the weather, but really appreciate that they were there and open!
