Visiting parents in North Central Iowa and drove to SPAM museum and stopped here on way home for lunch. Very good food, we had burgers, pasta, salads and soups. All good, good size portions. Staff very friendly. Prices were appropriate. We had read some stories on line so decided to try it. Great setting, love it's downtown. The chicken pot pie soup was outstanding.
Decided to try somewhere new for everyone and I'm here visiting. Full service bar. Those that partook were happy.we ordered a river rat platter combo of 5 different appetizers. All very good. Nice dipping sauces. Burger night. Did not get asked for how we wanted the burger cooked but they were fine. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which you can not get in Maine like they make it here. Very good. Moist.I chose salad over fries. that was nice and fresh. Others had homemade chips which were good but a bit too much salt. Our server was nice and helpful took good care of us. The owner stopped and spoke with us. Nice lady. Overall, very happy and will return
