Chef Brian Anderson and wife Sue have opened their own restaraunt offering comfort food with a twist! Brian is featuring such favorites as meatloaf with short rib gravy over mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, Pan seared Ahi tuna and the "Towns Bigge
After trying to visit The Hungry Trout on a number of occasions, my wife and I finally had dinner at the popular restaurant overlooking Rangeley Lake. We werenât disappointed! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner and our waitress, Tiffany. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and fast with cocktails. As an appetizer we had pan seared dumplings that were outstanding. For dinner, we both had jumbo lobster rolls - one with fries the other with onion rings. The lobster was perfectly cooked and served in tasty foot long rolls. Each lobster roll had 9 lobster claws! The meal was superb. I recommend that you get there early as the restaurant does not take reservations and fills up quickly. However, turnover seemed to be fast.

Sarge's is among the most popular places in Rangeley. It has customers when everyone else is empty or already closed. If you're looking for burger and beer, or an appetizer and beer, this is the place. Great place to watch sports --- lots of TVs. It is a lively fun spot.If you are coming for the food, it is going to disappoint. It's average pub fare. The pizza is dull and seems kind of commercial. Burgers are OK, but expect rare no matter how your order it.Service is average -- no problems. Reasonable pricing. It's a good spot for a large group. It's the best and only choice at 9PM when the sidewalks of Rangeley have been rolled up.Beer, buffalo wings and the Red Sox Game --- You'll be satisfied.

Catch up with friends and family in an inviting, historic setting while enjoying a drink, snacks, or dessert. The Rangeley Tavern offers a full bar with high-top seating, as well as a fireside lounge. Grab a friend for a game of chess or bring the whole c
Weâve been here for dinner many times and thoroughly enjoyed the pub atmosphere next to the fireplace. However, my review is for the front porch to have cocktails and German Pretzels and Beer Cheese appetizers while sitting on the spectacular crisp white deck in front of the Inn. Erica makes great cocktails such as side cars & old fashions -how do you beat that? Add beautiful flower boxes lining the historic and well maintained front porch

Great ambiance overlooking the water. Service was outstanding. Beet salad was fresh and delicious. Both of us had the Prime Rib special which was so good. Huge portions. Very fresh sides. Loved their mashed potatoes. Wish we could have stayed there in the lodge. Their pub was nice as well. Would highly recommend. So much better than the restaurants we tried right in town.

Parkside was excellent!!! Downtown Rangeley. Hamburgers are freshly ground everyday. All items made on site. We had a specialty burger, fresh cut fries and one of the best clam chowder we have every had. Coconut cream pie was just like mom makes. Our waitress Becky just couldnât do enough for us. You wonât be disappointed!

Had dinner with a friend 10oct. I had the haddock on a risotto and she had what appears to be the favourite here the seared scollops. Both meals served within 10 mins of ordering and drinks flowed , possibly coz we sat at the bar . I take no alcohol but there appeared to be a nice beer selection available. The owner whilst in his forties is very well travelled and obviously picked up a lot experienced, first meeting and first visit to this restaurant, I'm a yearly visitor to the area for the last 16 years and this would be my place of choice to go out to for dinner.
