Reviews on Bar food in Ollantaytambo, Cusco Region, Peru. Ollantaytambo has some of the oldest continuously-occupied buildings in South America. Once a stronghold of Inca resistance to Spanish colonization, it's remarkably well-preserved. Many travelers visit Ollantaytambo because it's the beginning of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but don't rush through—the ruins are fascinating.

Great restaurant in the centre square of Ollantaytambo. The food is great with a large selection and types of food. The staff and owner are very friendly and generous. They offered me different foods to try and advised me about them. The owner sat down and talked to me about my travels in Peru. I visited there everyday while I stayed in Ollantaytambo. I highly recommend this restaurant.

On your first night in Ollantaytambo, make a B-line for Don Lucio english pub. I cant say it was crowded when we were there, but I enjoyed the dozen or so Cusquena's we each had. Also, speak to the bartender Porfirio, he is also a guide and can set you up with mountain biking, hiking, machu picchu treks, and white water rafting. I had such a great trip and glad to have met some cool people at this p
The best Peruvian, Italian and Mexican food in the hands of kitchen professionals. Our diners recommend our tasty variety.
The Nachos are very crispy, the source with it is excellent, best I have here in Peru so far, highly recommanded. And you can see the kitchen from the hall, actually, with good view of the plaza and the mountains if you sit at the table outside.Thank you for your visit. We will wait for you. Come back soon!

We offer imported drinks such as Belgian, English, Olanda, Mexican, local and craft in shop. Also offer some dishes and snacks. We have varieties of cocktails and imported drinks.
Slightly surprised to find and "English" bar in Ollantaytambo but it was actually okay. It's probably fair to say it's not an "English" bar as the staff were definitely not English. However, they do offer a choice of well known drinks (such as IPA) and play some very good music (songs you'll recognise from the 80's onwards). There is a nice laid back atmosphere and also a nice balcony overlooking the square. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.Simply, it's a nice relaxed place to have a few drinks and rest your tired feet!Gracias por su comentario estamos trabajando en el tema del personal para poder brindarles una mejor experiencia y nos alegra saber que la música y el ambiente les gusto. feliz viaje

Wanted something light and had the chicken soup (with rice instead of noodles due to iffy stomachs!) and it was a large steaming bowl of homemade deliciousness! It was chock full of chicken and fresh vegetables. Friendly service and a lovely view over Place des armes from the balcony seating.

The best place to take a break before getting on the train and go to Machupicchu.
Blue Magic is just off the main square. This quaint resturant has a multitude of local favorites including Guinea Pig. There is a large selection to choose from, all created with fresh ingredients. Very good prices for the amount of food you receive. We started with a veggie broth soup with avocado, which hit the spot with the wind blowing as dusk. The Alpaca burger was perfectly prepared, with grilled veggies, and egg and bacon piled on top. All accompanied by hand cut French fries. The shredded chicken served in a lite spiced sauce with chicken and rice. 75 soles ($26 to $27 USD including tip!Great place to rest, relax and enjoy beautifully prepared food
