Eleven of us took seats inside on a hot evening, and everyone had good food and a good time. About one-third had salads, which were in startlingly enormous bowls. The person next to me had Le Paleron de BÅuf Braisé, which was a delicious-looking tender piece of beef with vegetables and potatoes.

This is a must place to eat. Superb menu, very helpful and friendly staff. Specials are on the blackboard, good size portions. Spolit for choice what to eat, but everything is tasty and wholesome. Enjoy.

We ate here twice during our recent visit. Busy on both nights, unable to make reservation but sat and had drink whilst waiting on table. Home made burgers and steaks both nights, excellent quality and value. 2 course with drinks for 4 under £100

If you're staying at the Hotel Marguerite, this restaurant is right next door - but closed on Sundays. We were there for lunch, salad and a beer, and it was fine. It's not as touristy as the restaurants in the old part of Orleans.
