Eat in or Take Out. We bake all our own bread fresh each day. Our chalkboard menu changes daily to keep it as fresh as possible. We are know for Joe's world famous BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich topped with creamy cole slaw. Our signature cocktail is a spicy ha
We had the pumpkin coconut soup and the pulled pork sandwich they were both delicious. For dessert we order a cinnamon roll and it was very good. They have the right combination between flavor and price. I totally recommend it!
They have not been open long, maybe 6-8 months. This is probably one of the nicest pool and restaurants I have been too. They have 4 pools and 2 or 3 are adult only - and even a jacuzzi that was not hot water but jets didn't work when we where there. They charge for pool entry - it was like 1000 colones for the day (~$2) per person. Well worth it - as the pool stays cold since one of the pools is about 8' deep. The food, well it is prepared in a kitchen that you would think come out of a large city. The kitchen is partly open so you can see in and they have all top of the line commercial appliances - which is rare around here. They food was great - we all loved what we ate from the mini burgers to the cansado. My only complaint is that they advertise as a pool bar - and maybe they open that at times but it was never open/staffed when we were there - so its more like a bar with a pool. They did not offer service from the pool so you have to get out to refill.

If I can eat here for every meal of the day I would.Their wood fired oven adds an incredibly unique and authentic flavor to the pizzas and anything cooked in it.The diversity of flavors and combinations for the salads and entrees/platters are an experience that no other restaurant in Nosara offers. Pura Vida indeed!

Bar Olga's is one of the older and authentic Costa Rican restaurants in the Nosara area. Olga's is located on the beach with a wonderful ocean view. This is a fun, family beach and the favorite place to watch sunset for many locals. The food is good, the
We just had smoothies there -- which are wonderful -- so can't speak to the food, but just a fun place to hang with the locals on the beach.

The restaurant at the Gilded Iguana will be up and running for Nov 2014. The new management brings the BEST food in the area and finally will get the spotlight they deserve. Look for more info to be released soon.
We have been here on 2 occasions now. The service is horrible. It takes 30 plus minutes to get a drink. The food is mediocre at best. I had pizza which was nothing special. 10pies down the street is way better and the service is better. My husband had tuna and he said it was ok but the service made us not want to go back and we wonât. Hello GullickC,We apologize if you didn't enjoy your visits to our restaurant, we will definitely review our processes. There have been some crazy busy days but that is not an excuse to not offer a good service or make our customers wait so long for food or drinks. We will be making some changes to our menu and comments like these help us offer better options. If you do ever visit us again we hope to change your mind about our restaurant. Thank you!

The Black Sheep is unique. It is an original Boutique Inn that is 15 minutes from the beach on one of the highest mountains in Nosara. You will wake up with a mountain view and most likely surrounded by monkeys. Get away from the tourists and bustle of th
It's not just that K Raye is super-friendly accommodating and very interested in her guests that makes this the best pub in Costa Rica. It's the views overlooking the valley in the ocean. Several mush tree canopies with howler monkeys and other species of monkeys hanging from the vines and interacting with guests from afar. It's also that on Sundays you get the taste of live music and folks come up from everywhere Costa Rica together for drinks and music. Biergarten has incredible views under a rustic canopy. K Rae's place has beautifully kept Gardens with coconut trees. If you're lucky and agile she may let you borrow her machete and retrieve your own coconut. This is a great place for a meal and drink, get to know the local area away from the town of nosara. The pub is situated off the beaten path way up the mountain keep going there are signs that will let you know that you still have some distance to go every time you begin to think you've gone too far. Look for those signs it's a little out of the way but it is totally worth it this place is a gem.I stayed at the Buddha hotel in San Juanillo, surfed in mar bella then Guiones and made it a point to come hereHello Monica! I apologize for not responding sooner, I am just now seeing the reviews. Thank you so VERY much for such wonderful words. I am so glad you enjoyed this hidden gem. I appreciate all of your kind words and hope to see you again. have a wonderful day! :-) K-Rae

In business since 1994, Marlin Bill's offers guests of our open-air dining room panoramic views of Guiones, the ocean, and Costa Rica's world-famous sunsets, along with mouth-watering options from our eclectic menu of choice steaks, chops, fresh seafood,
This restaurant is certainly sub-standard especially for the price. I ordered chicken Parmesan but when it arrived it was covered in sauce and cheese and it looked awful. I had one or two bites and decided to leave quickly after paying. Portion size is massive and does not compensate for the poor tasting food.

Great beachfront spot. Smoothies and fish tacos are excelent! Needs to be on Tripadvisor. Breakfast/lunch - open to 3.
This place has such a nice vibe. Super chill and staff is stellar. Loved the resident cat. Came here the first and last night in town and did not disappoint. We wish we could have been there for live music but maybe next time. The picklemole is phenomenal! Soon will try and imitate and rotate at home. Lots of good vegetarian options with tons of flavors. Our whole family, including picky boy, found plenty to keep full. They had a local brewery tropical ipa on tap one night that was super. Nothing on tap other evening and stuck to Tona. Can't go wrong --go there -be fed & happy Wanted to promote by buying a t-shirt but only had xl available. Also, sink in bathroom was in need of repair

Love this place. One of the best burgers I've ever had.. no doubt. Fries are "wedges" and not only huge, but plentiful. Oh, burger is massive too. Service however, is mediocre at best. Been 3 times with the same experience. It's a simple place, so DON'T let the service stop you from going. The food is worth it. Price is commensurate with the quality and portion size (yes, like $18 for burger and fries). No hesitation from us paying the premium.

Mexican inspired bar and restaurant serving cocktails, craft beer and locally sourced food. Family friendly with an outdoor playground and weekly kids movie. Live music, weekend brunch and daily food and drink specials.
The food was good, especially the shrimp and beef tacos. The biggest appeal for us though was the little jungle gym in their mini jungle. Very cool area for our kids to play while we waited for the food.
