Iron Thunder is a little different from most sports bars I've ever been in. They have theme nights for the waitresses, lingerie night, school girl night, etc. but the clientele is not largely male. I saw patrons from all ages and walks of life. I had 36 steamed shrimp and an enormous basket of fries for under $8. The portions are enormous. Prices are excellent. Food is of good quality. I liked it.

While the food is usually good here we got a surprise, my granddaughter found a large piece of soft plastic in her chicken Alfredo!!the waitress was very upset by this but what made me mad was the way the manager handled it, she acted like it was no big deal and was not even going to make an adjustment on bill until I asked. I understand mistakes happen but when your not courteous about it it's like you don't care about your customers, just watch what you eat at this Applebees please

We visited for our first time a few days ago. I drank a delicious craft beer. I wouldn't call the beer selection vast but it was adequate. I had chicken tenders with buffalo dipping sauce. Chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Dipping sauce was good too. My wife had some type of chicken casserole in a bread bowl. The potato chips were chewy instead of crisp but the manager dropped by and was glad to replace them with fries. I'd suggest trying this place out if you haven't already.

Each time we have visited this BWWs it has been pretty quiet. Service is friendly. I have noted in the past that they have had difficulty with the games they offer not always being available. This latest weeks visits all went well. The food was up to par for a BW's. Overall we feel this is a nice quiet place to have dinner, work and watch a game. That is our recipe for the Hickory BWW's. It is a good quiet place. Three stars is our rating.

The Hickory area is being revitalized with a shopping area that includes cute boutiques and places to eat. The Hickory Brew is one of those places. We grabbed a few IPAs and enjoyed burgers. The Irish root was a great side dish as was the slaw. The bar is large with high ceilings and several tables. The bartender was friendly and attentive.

We stopped in after day one of a travel soccer tournament with 19 people! We were quickly seated and the wait staff was more than accommodating when taking our orders! The manager came out and sat/talked with our girls about their game. She went as far as to post congratulations to them on social media. The food was great and everyone was delighted with our experience!

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.

My husband and I have been frequenting this local craft beer and wine shop since it opened a few years ago. If you are looking for a place with the feel of CHEERS, look no further. The owners-Twyla, Dennis, and Michael are very friendly and will welcome you with smiling faces. The current staff, Lee, Addison, Jack, and Paris are attentive, knowledgeable, and will let you sample not only the beers on tap, but also open bottle of wines. This establishment offers a wine club membership for 1 or 2 people. We are gold members with free wine tastings of featured wines on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. In addition, we receive 2 free bottles of wine each month, plus 10% off our total bill. They have a limited menu of meats and cheeses, Paninis, bar snacks, and fresh popcorn. But they do not mind if you bring or have delivered food. During the summer months on Thursday evenings they sponsor Get Your NEWTon. The street front is roped off and Live music fills the air.
