A wine country favorite! GREAT times and 38 taps of beer, local wine, ciders, craft cocktails & local fare.
I have been several times to for meetings and am greeted with great customer service, fantastic selection of tap beer and other tasty drinks. I have had several of the food options there and by far my favorite is the hummus plate. So yummy! I would highly recommend Carlton coast and tavern to all my friends and family! We will be returning customers! It's great to have such a nice place in our small little town!Kimberly, Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We're so glad you enjoy the place!

Passing through Newberg, received a recommendation from a friend of Finniganâs for breakfast. We just happened to stay at the travel lodge next door so it was a no brainer. The atmosphere and decor is better suited to dinner and cocktails, it is dark inside even when the sun is shining outside. However, The menu is traditional and amply suited to large appetites and the execution was great and the service was friendly and professional. Be forewarned, based on the activity at the bar, I would hazard to guess, that locals who work swing shifts, stop off for an adult beverage before heading home.Would I eat there again? Yes.

Ate at Barley & Vine for a light dinner. Had an excellent radicchio salad and a very good cheese/charcuterie plate. And two glasses of wine. Quality was excellent. Pours were generous. Only criticism would be that a couple more toasts for the cheese plate would be nice. I did not have beer but I should note that they have about 16 interesting beers on tap. The "by tbe glass" wine list is rather shrt for a wine bar but reasonably selectrd. I would definitely go back.

Arirang Grill & Bar Provides An Exceptional Asian-American Fusion Restaurant Services to the Newberg, OR Area.
This is a prime location in the center of downtown Newberg. The city deserves so much more than this! The location is showing signs of wear and tear on the fringes, examples: lightbulbs burned out or missing throughout much of the restaurant and the bathroom as well. Cleanliness is not great. Don't get me wrong, it is not dirty, but you do not feel like you are in a really clean place. We stopped for a late lunch 2pm on a Tuesday. There was only one visible employee in the whole place and unfortunately she was not really well trained or efficient. Without being too harsh, let's just say she was slow, forgetful, and a bit lackadaisical. Realizing that the time was not a peak one, the ownership of this place needs to make sure a top notch well trained person is running the show when it is so understaffed. Now to the food....... my wife had the Yakisoba noodles and beef dish. She liked it and would try it again. The helping was generous as well, I had the Hawaiian beef, onion, and cheese sandwich on a french roll. It was just OK. I though they should have made it a bit sweeter with teriyaki sauce, but that is a matter of taste. Needless to say, it was fruitless to find the waitress once she delivered the meal. Like I said, more training is needed. I put this on the owners however. They should set a higher standard. Our total bill with coffee and ice tea was about $26 with tip. A very good price in my opinion. This place has a big pub/bar room in the rear and perhaps it is good, but I cannot say. There were only 3 or 4 customers in the place while we were there. Overall, I'd say pass it up as a lunch spot, I know we will in the future.

If you enjoy sports, love nastagila and great food, then this restaurant is for you! Great beverage selection, awesome food and sports jerseys from every era and sport from baseball to Hockey and everything in between! Signed jerseys, football jerseys, truly a walk down memory lane! Hubby had the turkey club sandwich and it was enormous and delicious! My son ordered the prime rib French dip and it did not disappoint! Generous portions and too many fries to finish! Paired with bottomless cokes, it was a teenagers dream! I ordered the southwest salad and it came with a delightful lime cilantro dressing, as well as a barbecued ranch dressing that was delicious! This is our go to spot when passing through Newberg. Always great service, excellent food and fair prices!

FAMILY FRIENDLY FEATURING THE FINEST HANDCRAFTED ALES AND FOOD IN YAMHILL COUNTY! Chehalem Valley Brewing Company serves twelve of our own craft beers on tap. There's something for everyone to include blondes, ambers, IPA's, blacks, browns, porters and st
Average tasting beers of standard variety (Amber, Brown, Porter, Stout, 3 IPAs, 2 Blondes, and a couple other run of the mill brews). Of all their beers, the Amber was the best, yet still pretty mediocre in body/flavor. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the creative innovations coming out of countless microbreweries across Portland, but I found all of their beers tasted exactly that way, average or to be expected without many unique qualities that stood out from the rest. The food menu was not very appealing, both in price and culinary inventiveness, again, standard pub fare. The cheese curds were deliciously golden fries with a subtly spicy aioli like dipping sauce, unfortunately there were only about 14 curds (literally, I counted) which were consumed in under 3 mins by myself, not worth $7 for the underwhelming appetizer. The $15 burger would have left me slightly less hungry... perhaps. Our bartender was friendly and did her job very well. No customer service complaints whatsoever, that attribute goes a long way in my mind, retaining that 3rd star in the overall rating. Having driven past this place a dozen times, I'm still glad we stopped by to satisfying the cravings and curiosity in our adventures to find the best beers! Tasting room is small-medium size, just off the main road behind a couple other buildings, nice patio space and casual interior digs. I'd imagine this place does great with the locals and individuals who like their beer tasting just like beer did 25 yrs ago... To each unto their own... Thanks!Best,~S

Went for happy hour and almost everything went wrong with the food orders. The couple we were with split a pastrami sandwich and truffle fries. The bread on the sandwich was tough, they had difficulty cutting it in half. The fries were barely warm. My wife and I split the beet salad and mussels. 4 of the 10 mussels were not "open". I managed to open one, but asked the waiter to get us 3 mussels to replace them. Waited for 25 minutes to get them and the were just warm. The beet salad could have been better if the beets weren't cut so thick, about 1/4". To their credit, after I complained and said we shouldn't have to pay for the mussels, they did knock off the price of the mussels.

Went here based on a friend's recommendation. WOW! To be honest and candid I think it is a bit short of a 5 but 4 doesn't give them the credit they deserve. We started with a fabulous Tomato/Watermelon Gazpacho. Then we shared two mains: Arancini over a fabulous lentil/chantrelle ragu, and a very good pork chop over rice and charred yellow squash. Great service. A charming casual ambiance. Simply outstanding. And reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
