High end casual fare at great prices. Comfortable family friendly setting with full bar, happy hour daily and private banquet rooms available.
This is a nice local place with a lively bar and an energetic atmosphere. Service was excellent. The menu was fairly standard pub fare with some interesting twists. Get the burger with fried cheese curds and onion rings. It's a lot of meal, and even comes with a side of fries. Salads and main courses were good too. And they pour a really nice glass of wine. Check it out.Thank you for the kind words Parker. We hope to see you soon!

Cherry Street East is more than just a pub; it is part of the core of New Canaan. Established in 1977 it is known for the fresh ground burgers - the "best burgers" in the area - and down home comfort food. Nightly specials include Tuesday's wine night $20
The restaurant is on the rustic side. Not terrible but nothing memorable. The waitress was quick to seat us and take care of us. The menu is full of lots of comfort food options. We decided to do several of their appetizers. My girlfriend ordered the filet mug on sliders and I ordered the fried baby back ribs with a basket of fries. He filet mignon sliders were a sizable portion but it only came with Gorgonzola and a slice of tomato. It was cooked at a perfect temperature but it sort of left us wanting a bit more. The ribs were delicious. The fell off the bone and had plenty of barbecue sauce. I enjoyed our lunch but it did not blow me away. Not sure if I will come back to try other menu offerings.

Good menu of salads ,hamburger, tuna etc. casual dining in a casual atmosphere. On sundays they have Buffalo Wings that may be as good as ARCHIE Mooreâs of New Haven. On the wings that is the highest compliment possible. I was actually sooty I have a very good salad. Next time it will only be wings!
