OUR FIRST VISIT: The menu offered so many things to choose from it was a difficult decision, but we finally decided to try the Build-a-Burger. There are a variety of toppings to choose from (most are complimentary but some toppings are an extra charge). The burger comes on a toasted ciabatta bun with fries. Done just the way we like 'em, nice and juicy. This is definitely on my top three best-burgers-in-the-valley list. The fries were very good too.OUR SECOND VISIT: We ordered the Sicilian pizza. The sauce is a little on the sweet side and the crust is nice and crunchy. Another winner!! And the beer is ice cold!!OUR THIRD VISIT: I had the Fried Fisherman Platter and my husband had the Fried Cod dinner (on the Lent menu). Both came with fries and coleslaw, and again, both were very good. Our servers have always been efficient and friendly. We'll be back again and again!!

Locals love this place. The food is nicely cooked and reasonable in price. The décor hasnât changed since I was there eons ago. Comfortable booths and paper placemats set the relaxed mood. Try the fresh fish. I had a haddock fillet cooked to perfection which was as good as you might get in a 5 star restaurant. My companion had the fish and chips. A simple dish, but if not cooked correctly it can be dry or greasy. It was neither. Crisp on the outside and delightfully soft and juicy inside, it was a fish and chips lovers delight.I highly recommend Parkway for a reasonably priced, nicely cooked lunch or dinner.
Where to eat American food in Nanticoke: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Ruby's Inn is an awesome local bar and pizza shop in Nanticoke PA. We've been coming down for years and it's always great. We stopped in Saturday night for a pitcher of Miller Lite and 1/2 plain 1/2 pepperoni pizza. The pizza was delicious. The crust and sauce are terrific. Jim Ruby waited on us and his service was top notch. They have a full bar in the front and a dining room in the back. It's clean and the prices are very reasonable. They have a few TV's and have off street parking in the rear of the building. I like spending my money at places like this... places runs by friendly hardworking local families.
