Jon Taffer needs to return to see how his advice was not followed. The owners have brought back their worn out football crap. They changed the lake theme back to sports. If it wasnât for trivia on Thursdays, it would be Death Valley Days. The parking lot is unkept, cats going through the trash. Our party of nine had barely average food. The urban on the menâs room was running over. It didnât seem to bother anyone. They need to get a real chef to run the kitchen, the food presentation is just very poor. The fries were dark brown, so that means the need to change the fryer oil. The management just didnât learn anything from Mr. Taffer. They need to wake up.

We ate here in October 2018 during the Mt. Dora Bicycle Festival and sat in the bar area which is a great atmosphere. We loved everything about this place. Itâs casual and laid-back with decent prices and great service. We started with the pretzel and beer cheese which was amazing. We wolfed it down and had leftover cheese that we used with the fries that came with our sandwiches. I had the chicken bacon brie sandwich and it was fresh, tender, flavorful, and juicy. I drank the blond ale which was good although Iâm more of a pilsner fan. I will definitely go back next time Iâm in town.

Serving unique pizzas, calzones, salads, hoagies and a good time. 24 taps of craft, local and core beers, full service liquor bar and always a fun atmosphere.
Stopped in with the grandkids for pizza. Shared 2 pies. Medium house pizza and medium cheese-xtra, pepperoni, bacon. Both were excellent, prices were great and Adriana was the best. Will definitely be going back in the near future. This was a first time visit and fell in love

I had lunch here with three friends. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed a long leisurely lunch. And the food was excellent. However, this service left much to be desired. For starters we were never offered anything to drink but our ice water glasses were kept full.... after lunch we were presented with our bills but never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Our server was quite pleasant and we never felt as though he were trying to get rid of us. We rather thought that he had not received training in what he might have offered us to increase the size of our bill. Too bad.

Nice outside bar to sit and socialize on a beautiful evening. Had the crab dip with the tortilla chips and garlic bread. It was good, preferred it on the bread(of course..... the unhealthiest of the two!) Had the french onion soup as well..... salty but really good!

Rocking Rabbit unusually has a restaurant on one end and a very popular Brewery with live music Th-Sunday evenings on Highland Street in Mt Dora.My husband wakes up early enough for breakfast maybe 1-2 times a year so we made it last week.Thé menu and the prices are reasonable. Some very nice Mt Dora folks were already there.Great service, good food, and not packed. It was quite warm even though it was a beautiful day though. This is a place I would feel good about coming with my whole family, friends, grown children & grandchildren. I had a pretty standard scrambled egg, grits, bacon breakfast and wonât wait for Tom to return!Thank you!

Welcome to Pisces Rising. Located in Central Florida and established in 2003, Pisces Rising is a celebration of Florida cuisine. Lovingly wrapped around a Florida cracker bungalow style home built in the 1920's, the restaurant overlooks Lake Dora and the
good bar atmosphere on the deck. We went for an afternoon lunch but there was no dining room seating until 5 PM. ended up having drinks and appetizers on the deck. Good eats and cocktails although service was a little slow and waitstaff did not seemed very interested in getting to us when we arrived. Not sure if that is the norm but it was notable for me. I would go back but if service was not better it would be my last visit as there are lots of good restaurants in Mt. Dora.

Welcome to the Frog and Monkey Restaurant and Pub! We are located in the basement of the Renaissance Building in beautiful downtown Mount Dora, FL. With a vast beer selection and the best burger and chips in Lake County, our diverse menu and whimsical atm
We were both dying for a good burger, and the burgers and fries, regular and sweet potato were top shelf. Nice cozy and casual surroundings. Glad to get a Jai Alai on draft, excellent. Service from Stephanie was very attentive. Slight caveat, live music is nice here, but the low ceilings are not conductive to being loud. This isn't Carnegie Hall.

Kitchen open till mid-night 7 days a week. We are an authentic British Gastro-pub specialising in full English breakfast, carvery roast dinners, real fish n chips with hand-cut triple-cooked fries and mushy peas and many other dishes using imported Britis
We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I had been looking so forward to going for some time. Iâd read lots of good reviews on Tripadvisor. Well, our experience was not good at all. Server started off ok. Took our drink orders and our app order of scotch eggs. The eggs had no flavor whatsoever. Which was strange, because I have had them before, at another English Pub and they were delicious. On to the main dish order. My husband ordered fish and chips. I tried to order two different things, to be told they didnât have what I wanted. So, I ended up ordering something that I really didnât want. Some kind of chicken with mushroom pie. Only 1 mushroom in it and it was this tiny little bowl. $14 was outrageous for what I got. My husbands fish and chips were greasy and the supposed 3 time fried homemade ff were lucky if they got one fry. Some were actually al dente. Our waitress never came over to ask how everything was. We had to wait 20 minutes to finally get our bill. We paid $50 for a meal that was just awful! I so wanted to rave about our visit, but unfortunately it was nothing to rave about.
