Friendly, welcoming Bar/Lounge/Diner offering great gastro pub food 7 days a week Rated 4.5 Out of 5 for food. We also offer full SKY SPORTS/BT SPORTS/PREMIER SPORTS with weekly live music singers and Karaoke party nights!
Weâve eaten in here a few times but often get put off. Unfortunately I find that most items are either served with chips or rice. But on the other hand it is a pub and I suppose thatâs what people expect. On this occasion I had the steak pie. It was ok, served with chips, I opted for them although I will say the server did offer potatoes but I didnât want to take the risk of it being smash. I just like my food tasty as anyone would. Plain boiled veg with no seasoning? Not my thing, throw a bit of butter, salt and pepper. Doesnât take much. On the other hand my wife had the salt and chilli chicken with curry sauce and believe it or not, rice. The sauce they use is a well known medium strength sauce from home bargains, I can tell that sauce a mile away as I use the extra hot one at home. Great sauce though! She thoroughly enjoyed hers. Thanks for your views Will take on board your comments re the veg but we do in fact make fresh mash potato fluffy and seasoned. Our sauce is also made fresh .... not from Home Bargains ! We hope these little things did not spoil your overall BW experience. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Have been enjoying Sunday lunch here every week for several years now and cant see past it for value for money and good quality food. Indeed, every other eatery I go to I find myself comparing this vfm and quality. Only the previous evening I paid over £13 in an hotel dining room for an overcooked hamburger and chips, 2 greasy onion rings and a leaf of lettuce. Sunday lunch at the Bentley for £12.95 will do you a full 3 courser with a choice of 5 starters, 8 mains and 4 or 5 sweets.....no frills, just good food, well prepared This price has only just had to rise to this having been a ridiculous £9.95 for too long. I reckon The Bentley's Sunday lunch must be hard to beat if you pay attention to what your pound buys you. In that regard you cant lose.

Junkyard. Great beer, food and tunes, all served with a smile - it's that simple.
We were looking for a nice easy going place for dinner as a family and thought we would try Junkyard. Look and feel was very good and we immediately all felt the place had a very positive atmosphere. It has a nice look and feel to it and the atrium area and outside area were great. The staff were very friendly, always smiling and were clearly good at their job. They set expectations around timings and happy explained any items on the menu and also gave some ideas as well - all very impressive. So why not 5 stars then? well it loses one star for the food. Don't get me wrong food was great, very tasty and the range was excellent, value was decent enough. I had a chicken rodeo burger and was very happy with it. But it came with Onion rings and I had ordered a side of chunky chips and both of these very saturated in oil, they hadn't been drained of the excess oil. I have tasted nothing but oil in my mouth since and its now 24 hours later. My kids both had burgers and they were well made, no fat and cooked well, just over seasoned with herbs, to the extent that all you could taste was herbs. There skinny fries were fine. So food was good quality, well made and other than the oil on the onion rings and chips and the over seasoning of the burgers it was very tasty. my chicken rodeo burger was excellent. So 100% we will visit again and probably soon, we may not order what we had before but please please please just can you quality check the food - thats all really!

Arrived on a Friday afternoon, 3 adults and a child. Seated quickly and ordered drinks. 3 adults ordered the carvery and daughter ordered kids mac & cheese. Kids meal came out and had to be sent back...it was stone cold. Eventually when second one came out it was slightly hot but daughter said she was too hungry to wait again however after a couple mouthfuls she pushed it away n said it tasted horrible (sheâs not a fussy eater) I tasted it n it was disgusting, she ended up eating from the adult plates since server was no where to be seen. Carvery wasnât the best, meat was overdone and very little meat was given and all the veg was overdone and mushy. The service was pretty poor also. We had to go looking for our server to ask for our bill...30 mins later we were still sitting and ended up going. To look for someone else to be informed our server had gone home without bothering to get our bill or tell other staff we were waiting. Manager was very helpful and offered to knock money off our bill however by this point we just wanted to get out. Defo wouldnât go back

Belmill Hotel is a modern bar, bistro hotel. We provide great food from morning till night in warm modern environment, catering to all age groups.
The Bellmill is a nice modern restaurant, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's very clean.Where they get zero out of five is the choice of vegetarian food. There is only macaroni to choose from on the all day menu, zero choices in the senior menu and slimway selection and no vegetarian choice at all from the burgers or main menu.Very poor.

the Cherry tree is now under new management. We opened in December 2016 following a massive refurbishment. We serve meals 7 days a week and have live entertainment on every Saturday night
New chef is excellent, I had lunch with my mum and sister and both of them cleared their plates which is very unusual, I requested half a portion for my mum as she hasnât been eating lately and I was so pleased that she ate every morsel. I then had home made soup with my husband and it was delicious, I especially loved the really nice bread it was served with instead of those really hard rolls. Looking forward to going back, especially look forward to the new menu Thankyou so much for your wonderful review. Look forward to seeing you again

Just back from a Fab birthday dinner at the Electric Bar. This was our 1st visit for a meal. It started off with a warm welcome from Samantha who was so helpful with regards to our drinks order, then explaining the food I can eat with regards to my Gluten Allergy. I and going to give the Electric Bar and Samantha 5 stars. Not only for the friendliness of staff and also for their knowledge of contamination with regards to Ceoliacs and Vegans. The food and service 1st class and as such I have, also recommend this pub on my Facebook Group for Scottish Ceoliacs and Ceoliacs eat out. Thank you for making my birthday treat so special xThanks for the great review, Samantha is a great asset to Electric Bar, she has been with us for over 3 years and is a great ambassador for our company, all Electric Bar are trained on food allergies and we do our best to accommodate our customers, we look forward to welcoming you and your friends again, thank you.
