We weren't very hungry, so decided to share a sandwich. Many places on the water in Santa Barbara were more upscale than we wanted, and we found Shoreline Cafe. Even on a cold, windy evening it offered a wonderful out in the open view of the ocean behind "windshields" and heaters. We shared a ham and swiss sandwich with fries (you don't have to get seafood or tacos!). It was a good size with plenty of juicy meat. They even brought each half of the sandwich and fries on its own plate at no extra charge. Server Madi was attentive but not intrusive and kept my husband's Diet Pepsi glass full.

I enjoyed Eureka for a light lunch on a sunny Santa Barbara Thursday. They have comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The appointments are casual as youâd expect. The service was a solid notch above average. Attentive and friendly. Burgers appear to be the star here, and for good reason. Mine was good-sized for a lunch offering and had good flavor. This is a nice place for meeting friends and a casual business lunch. You have lots of options in Santa Barbara. Eureka! Is worth your consideration. I will return.

We went for Sunday brunch. The place was buzzing. Reminded me a bit of English restaurants of the past, decor and layout etc except busier and more fun.Staff very good and attentive without being intrusive. I had omelette which was excellent. A friendly vibrant atmosphere, it was better than I expected. Very glad we decided to go. Much better than many more expensive eateries.

Stopped here for dinner one night after seeing the patio full each night as we went back to our hotel. Seemed local and it was! In the best sense. Slightly off the beaten path but the food was great. The onion rings were superb. The fate was great and even tho there was a band, the service was prompt and attentive. Stop here, grab a sandwich and imbibe. Youâll enjoy for sure!

My husband and I were staying one night in Santa Barbara while driving from San Francisco to LA. My husband likes trying local beer whenever we visit somewhere, we wandered around Santa Barbara and discovered Figuero Mountain brewing co. It had a nice looking beer gardens and was local so we went in for a drink. The beer was nice and it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting in the beer garden under the string of lights.

We visited Santa Barbara as a day trip from LA and it was such a refreshing trip. Santa Barbara itself is absolutely beautiful and the restaurants/bars in the local area all looked fantastic. One that really stood out was Finney's so we decided to stop off for a bite of lunch. It is located on the road just opposite the pier so a prime location. Their craft beer menu was impressive and food menu also seemed right up our street (serving everything from pizza, burgers, tacos etc). We ordered pepperoni pizza & some chicken tacos (as well as beers and cocktails) we were very impressed with the quality and timing of the food. The only downside was the service wasn't great and half the time we had to stop the servers from congregating at the till having a catch-up and gossiping to try and get their attention. The toilets were clean and located at the back of the restaurant and there is an outdoor seating area during the hotter months. Whilst we was there a mariachi band came and played songs like "La Bamba" etc for tips which we really enjoyed. Overall, aside from the average levels of service, we still had a fab time!Instagram: @journeywithuss

Love this place. Nice ambiance, great service and incredibly good food and drinks.Seafood cocktail that was just added as a special, is the best we have ever had. Also tried the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich, which is a clear winner as well.Deviled eggs were excellent, but I recommend the seafood cocktail and chicken sandwich as the most recommended and clear stars!
