Best Bar restaurants nearby. Discover the best Bar food in Milwaukee. View Menus, Photos and Reviews for Bar restaurants near you.. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is perhaps best known for its famous breweries and the Major League Brewers, but there's more to the city than beer and baseball. Milwaukee is rich in historical and cultural attractions, making it the perfect place for a weekend of exploring. Check out the newly expanded Milwaukee Art Museum or the Mitchell Park Horticultural Society, which hosts an annual show of the same flora and fauna seen in Georgia O'Keefe's paintings. Those interested in the city's history can visit the grand Pabst Mansion, former home of one of the city's famous beer barons, or the Milwaukee Public Museum, to see what life was like in Old Milwaukee. If the kids are along, don't miss the Milwaukee County Zoo or the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Of course a trip to the "Genuine American City" would not be complete without a tour of the Miller Brewing Company and a Brewers game at Miller Park.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We read through at least 10 other restaurants on TripAdvisor, but this place seemed to have everything we were looking for. The place is very nice, lots of windows and ambient lighting. Our two servers, Jenny and Tony were great. Both were very kind and easy to talk to. They were extremely fast with filling our glasses and trading our silverware/plates. The meals we had will be remembered for years to come. The bacon wrapped scallops were the best we have ever had. The filet mignon's we each ordered were extremely tender and juicy. The seasoning was spot on. And then there was the side dish we shared...the lobster mac and cheese was unbelievable! The night concluded with a surprise dessert for our special outing. Very pleased with this place, not only do we look forward to coming back, but we will be sure to spread the word to friends and family.

Went here because it was featured on a few Food Network shoes & it did not disappoint! We each had sandwiches; the Cuban and Pulled Pork. Bread was super fresh and authentic (Cuban), the meats extremely tasty plus generous portions and the fries were fresh cut. We had one of their hone made, in house dressers, key lime pie....yum!! Hubby ordered a side of crispy bacon too, amazing! We highly recommend the Comet Cafe!

Went for lunch during the week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We ate (and drank) at the bar and enjoyed the company of the bartender. The pretzel & Obatzer works great and the pig wings should be a requirement. For some reason we got a free brat (Usinger's is across the street) for drinking beer. Who said there's no free lunch?

County Clare Pub and Restaurant

County Clare is located 10 minutes walk from the Milwaukee Art Museum and Irish Fest grounds. Our Irish themed restaurant has won several accolades over our 15 year existence.

Staying at County Clare we decided to have dinner and drinks here before heading to a concert. Our dinner was very good and always like getting a “Blacksmithe” at an Irish pub. Came back after the show and there was a group playing Irish music. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

When in Milwaukee, Go to Oscar's for the Most Delicious Burger in Town. Don't let the neighborhood or the outside keep you away. It's a few blocks from PotowatomiCasino and Marquette University. Once there, the staff will treat you well. You will walk out of Oscar's full and happy! Order drinks, they never rush you out. Order an appetizer. I will suggest the Nacho's as that is a meal in itself. Then order one of the Burgers. The Gringo, The Big O, or design your own! They are made to order and are 8oz of Deliciousness. We order an extra party for each of our Service Animals that love Oscar's too. I forgot to mention that the prices are very reasonable. On most days Oscar will be there, working hand in hand with the staff to make sure everything is Perfect.

We were woundering where all the people from Millwaukee gather in a weekend. As we mostly saw quiet streets in the city center. Well this beer hall could be one the places. And we understand why:- very nice and helpful staff. Truly commited to this brewery project,- great food (had the fish tacos and the saudages and both were delicious)- amazing beer! Would love to find all these beers back in Portugal...Great place to spend a morning or afternoon!

Ended up having a burger, fries and few pints, all delicious. Just an all round nice place with a good vibe to it. Well worth dropping in if you're nearby.
