Hotel Victor is Victor Harborâs most popular meeting site, overlooking Encounter Bay and Granite Island. With a great history, great food, service with a smile & a host of recreational activities nearby, this makes Hotel Victor the perfect setting for res
Called in for pre-dinner drinks on a Friday night whilst passing through. Very busy with some (a small number) rather intoxicated ladies who made our visit less than perfect as we sat outside listening to their very coarse and aggressive language. The service at the bar was also quite slow due to the sheer numbers. Maybe we got the wrong night? Thanks for your feedback, not sure what I can say but it must have been a miss on the night. We don't encourage loud or aggressive behaviour & are very disappointed that you experienced this

Hubby & I rocked up without a booking and they did their very best to find us a table. We chose to have the carvery special for $29.The meat (pork & lamb) was tender and the vegetables were aplenty. The dessert bar also had some good choices. We are very pleased you enjoyed your meal, our 3 course carvery has been a local favourite for a long time, always available along with some great bistro meals.

It was a while ago but we went to lunch at the Aquatic club and had a wonderful lunch. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The only problem we had was that there is no lift and being upstairs it was difficult for me to walk up with a disabled leg.

The ultimate waterside venue, the Fleurieu Function Centre is a place of tranquility, wonderment and warm hospitality and is ideally situated on the banks of the Coorong at Goolwa. With sparkling water views stretching over the Coorong, the Fleurieu Funct
Enjoyed a meal here with the family and thoroughly enjoyed it. Generous serves of good quality pub food it was hard to fault. Chicken parmigiana, chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce (creamy!!!), S & P squid and a particularly yummy chicken and bacon linguine. The staff were friendly and attentive and the view would have been lovely if we ate dinner a little earlier - the bridge lights were very pretty though. We will be back!

We sat near the windows with lovely scenery outside, and waited for our coffees. There was a little mix-up with the order, quickly rectified, however. There were very few other patrons here while we had afternoon coffee. I did not see anything much enticing to go with the coffee. Before we entered, we had a short walk through the landscaped area outside which was quite enjoyable.

We visit this Hotel regularly. The front bar has all things to bet on. It is disappointing that the Open Mic Night is no longer. This was a wonderful place for locals and visitors to the region to get together and show off their talents. The food has improved enormously over the past 12 months. Clever lady chef does a great job - very well executed and even the salad bar is once again a pleasure to peruse. I do which they would put some basic Sauces out for the punters to have at the side instead of always having to ask. A really good wine list to choose from. Most of the staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful, however on our most recent visit the "female waiting person with attitude" insisted on polishing the cutlery and THROWING it into the cutlery tray despite our asking her to do so quietly. I would fire her! Not what this Iconic Hotel needs. It has a great kid and dog friendly Garden area with magnificent Norfolk Pine tree to shade from the late afternoon sun. Always good value and great specials daily. Well worth a visit or three!
