Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Martinique. This Gallic toehold in the Caribbean exudes a distinctly French air, enticingly spiced up by West Indian warmth. Local culture and cuisine combine both influences. The stylish isle is dominated by Mount Pelee, which destroyed the city of St. Pierre in 1902. Black sand beaches and rainforests are found in the north, with yet more beautiful sands to the south. Sights include La Pagerie, birthplace of Napoleon's Empress Josephine, and Diamond Rock, a 600-foot pinnacle, once registered as a British warship.

We went to this bistro yesterday for lunch. We had the beef tartare, which was served with raw egg, Cornishon, capers, shallots and hot mustard, and bavette of beef. Both were served with delicious frites and a vegetable side and were very well prepared and delicious. Our waiter gave great service and the price was reasonable. Recommend.

Restaurant, pancake shop, ice cream store. A friendly atmosphere at any time of the day. Continuous service at lunch, snack, appetizers with cocktails and dinners . An efficient service.
We chose this place after seeing the meals others were seating. Everything was just as tasty as it looked! We had the panier Havana which was roast chicken with fries and a salad and a galette. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious!

Newly opened in August 2011. At the moment the bar/restaurant to be in Fort de France.
Great bar with a very upbeat friendly we-are-all-friends-here ambiance. Good service at the bar. Reasonable prices as far as bars go in Martinique. It's really all about the ambiance at the Garage. It's ALWAYS swinging. Whether you dress up or down you'll fit in wonderfully. The one minus for me is the inside smoking that smoking patrons love but it can be a real bother sometimes when you have to leave because your eyes are burning from all the indoor smoke. There's an indoor and outdoor (across the street) part to the bar but the lines got blurred over time I guess. There used to be a device that pulled the smoke away in the inside bar. Doesn't seem to work anymore. I still give Garage 4 stars for the great ambiance and the good service from staff. I always feel good when I go there.
