I ordered the slow cooked short ribs and they were awesome. Huge portions, great service. Make reservations though which seems to be the norm in Luz.

Usually a good place for breakfast but this time really disappointing. The large breakfast, while large had overcooked sausages, burnt mushrooms and tasteless bacon. This was a favourite place of mine but no longer. There are other places offering better food and better value. So disappointing.

Stopped for drinks at beachside bar. Just ok. Gin did not taste like full strength. Watered down?? Glasses were rinsed under tap and drip dried. Not cleaned. Passed by other few times. Had live music. Did not and would not return.

Me and Becky stopped here for our last breakfast before returning to normality and so glad that we stopped here as my bacon and egg baguette was lovely and I had fresh juice which was so refreshing. Becky had cappuccino and two pastel de nata and were the best she had whilst on The Algarve. The staff were friendly, the service efficient and the views amazing.

We turned up for dinner and felt that we were inconveniencing the waitress when asked to be seated up on terrace. There was an empty table on the balcony but told it was reserved 8.30 - we arrived at 6.45 and with 2 children....Ordered food from a very stroppy waitress. My son had a steak that looked anaemic and the piri piri chicken my friend ordered was anything but... in her words âroast chicken without the tasteâ. Look somewhere else if you want tasty food and an authentic meal. Highly recommend a few - Barroca being just down the road! Tasty food and amazing staff! Boatys another - good tapas!
