This is a chain, but it's consistently good with consistently good service. I've been here a few times. The location in old Montreal is a fun addition, especially if you have a view of the street (which right now is under construction). I took some friends here and they all enjoyed their meals - two ordered filet and two ordered fish dishes (the rice was particularly yummy - I had never tried it before). So many restaurants require reservations in advance which you can't always do. This is a good place to go when you are not able to do reservations more than a day or two ahead. You don't have to have reservations to come here, but it's a good idea.

Every night, drinks flow generously as our kitchen serves up fresh, pub-style cooking. The menu: soulful staples, original cocktails and friendly service in a classic tavern setting. The space, originally a 19th-century warehouse, preserves much of its ol
We went on a Friday night and sat by the Live Music. The band was great. Vibe was lively. Food was pretty good as well, not the best, but decent. We got the muscles (good white wine sauce) and the lamb (very good). This spot is casual with rustic decor. If you come here, it's more for the lively ambiance.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is 5 star, service quality everything. This terrace literally has the best view in all of old montreal. We went during the day but its most spectacular at night time. Then ferris wheel tour in the distance is lit up at night and you can see the moonrise too over the water. Just a beautiful view at night. They have heat lamps over the bar itself. Plenty of seating. The staff was accomodating, friendly. The place is busy it seemed all the time, mid week afternoon or evening, i can see why, truly a great view. We had an appetizer the first day, the rest of the time, just drinks. Good selection.
