A rstaurang environment that feels a bit unclear, spot bar with a variety of television screens or a gastropub with food high ambitions? Fast dining, but there was more staff than guests in the room. Simple classic dishes in all American style.

The Brew wasn't exciting and average at best (suggest the IPA). They only had five different brews. Happy Hour pitcher was $18, pints were around $6 (normally $7). Tried three different items off the happy hour menu: Pizza ($8); Street Tacos ($8); Hummus ($6). All three were overpriced and disappointing. Stay away from the green hummus ... you have been warned. The street tacos, you got three, were very small. Happy Hour prices didn't make me very happy. Had no problem finding parking in front. Loved the feel of the place and location, except streets downtown were somewhat confusing to drive around. Ambience was nice. Old brick building. Service was attentive and personable. No plans on returning.
Having just opened its doors on January 24th, Burnin Daylight is the latest addition to Lomitaâs Narbonne Avenue corridor.A family business, Burnin Daylight features the wares of passionate brewmaster Brendan Lake combined with a kitchen that offers a changing menu of outstanding snacks and entrées.We visited with friends and got a special request tour of the brewing room and a lesson in beer making before we settled into sampling both food and beverage. The staff was enthusiastic and friendly. And Brendan was available to recommend beers with just the right amount of hops flavor.I tried the market salad, cup of chili, buffalo wings and a wonderful beef jerky made by Brendanâs dad, Bob. All were several cuts above the food usually served in a brew house. For those unfortunate enough not to enjoy beer, other beverages are available including wine, hard cider and soft drinks. And for those who want to enjoy their beer at home, quart sized cans from the menu are available for take out, each hand labeled with the type, alcohol content and date.Outdoor seating is available with infrared heaters if the weather is a bit chilly. The phrase âweâre burning daylightâ suggests that âtimeâs a wastinâ and that thereâs work to be done. But in the context of this establishment, it means that the workday is done and itâs time to relax with good food, drink and friends. For now, Burnin Daylight is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Weekends are popular so if you want a quieter experience, plan to visit on a Monday or a Thursday.

Stopped here while touring the area. Glad we did. Our party of 6 stopped for lunch and everyone enjoyed the experience. Most had burgers, but one of us was on a strict gluten free diet. They were handled extremely well.Go for the burger of your choice, beef and turkey were both well prepared.

We had a group of 8 with me that day. We arrived around 7:30 pm and waited about 30 minutes to get seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was high traffic. The reception host was very attentive. Once seated, we were served their warm freshly baked biscuits and spread. The biscuits are âto die forâ. We order the âFamily Supperâ which comes with 2 choices of main entrees and 4 sides. It serves 12 persons so we had plenty to take home =). We chose the BBQ Chicken and Ribs. The chicken and ribs were tender and moist. Wait we also order 3 appetizers: Nacho Spinach Dip, Deep fried onions, and Nacho Cheese Dip. I would highly recommend the spinach dip and deep fried onions. I would pass on the cheese dip. As part Family supper, it came with 4 choices of sides. We chose mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and pulled pork fries. All of the sides were served in half size dish. I would highly recommend Lucilleâs as a place to go for the family.

"Dog Friendly" restaurant. But lately it seems people just bring their dogs everywhere anyway? Has a nice Outdoor Patio and Full Bar. Enjoyed feeling the slightly cooler breeze coming off the coast while sitting in the patio.Shared the Beef Dip sandwich with a friend who paid extra to switch the side dish to Onion Rings. I'm usually ambivalent about onion rings, as they are too often too thickly dipped, battered and fried. But these were deliciousness! Lightly battered, and the sandwich was good too.

Established in 1963, Torrance restaurant and cocktail lounge serving prime rib, steak, and seafood.
My wife selected the San Franciscan to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary because she had heard about the prime rib. We were not disappointed. We both ordered the shrimp and prime rib plate. We were served nice large shrimp and a good thick cut of prime rib plus salad and bake potato. Very tasty! We plan on going back soon.
