We are Angry Bull Steakhouse in Linkoping. Swedish charcoal grill is our specialty: steaks, skewers, burgers & veg. options.
After having been recommended this by our hotel and furthermore the good reviews on TripAdvisor, we were sorely disappointed by this evenings dining experience. We were shown to a table in the middle of the restaurant (despite there being available better placed tables) and our orders were taken relatively quickly. We both opted for steak, entrecôte for me, and strip for my partner, both were requested medium rare, both came out blue. The meat itself was OK, nothing to write home about. A lot of fat on the new york striploin, and my entrecôte was somewhat stringy. About halfway through our meal the disinterested waitress came by and asked if "everything is OK with the food" - I started to say the meat was a little undercooked, but she had already gone proving it was nothing more than a token gesture where she couldn't have cared less about the response. Later the owner (?) came by to ask if we were happy, by this time we had finished the meal and I said, again, the meat was undercooked but the meat was good - he sort of shrugged it off and said "the meat was good thought right?". Sure, it was fine, would have been better had it been cooked to what I asked though. To his credit, he did offer coffee when we were paying the bill, which we declined. For almost 300kr per dish (250gr) we expected better. Otherwise, the beer and burger prices were reasonable, the owner friendly and there is a wide selection of drinks. It could have been the fact it was Sunday evening, but we both left full yet strangely unsatisfied..won't be going back here.

If you love beer, a cosy place with great food and good service then you must try Malt Och Humle. Not that many alternatives on the menu but the ones they have are great, they also have 2 different dishes every day on their chalkboard. Tried the fish and shellfish stew. Perfect amount of food and really tasty, maybe should have had some more shellish in it but other then that a great dish.Really recommend you try it out and try some of their different beers they have.

This is one of the most over-priced and sadly hyped places in town. Not even when the beer is about to walk out the glass it's soo "ripe", will the staff admit there is anything wrong. Food is a bit better but average is the best anything will ever be here.

Re-review of this long standing favorite. The thing about favorite places is that they are consistent over the years. Bishops has been consistent. No change of interior. Same good variety of beers. Same service. Same menu more or less. Consistently same atmosphere, food, bee - great!Feel now there is a new owner... new staff, new food (even if menu is pretty intact), new chef? Interior the same but atmosphere different. Staff less observant, a bit ignorant, discussion internally in front of customer etc., no good feeling. Got the burger and as previous reported, it's different. Not bad but lower quality, bread seems industrial and so on. Feels that priority has been to reduce cost. Does not work. The home-made ketchup was the positive though!OK, you may say that it needs a second chance. But been here many many times over the years and you feel it, gone a big step downwards.I will leave it for a big while. For beer, it's still good but then many places are.

Staying at the Elite Stora Hotellet across the square, I headed over to Ãverste Mörner for a quick bite since the fancier restaurant Storan in the hotel was booked for a private party. The place has a pub feel, nothing fancy or particularly cozy. The Happy Hour/After Work offers sounded good, and the place was packed. But the Smashburger was tiny (it said "double" but double what? In my mind it was regular, leaning towards small, and definitely not double!), with very little of the advertised Bloody Mary ketchup, Bourbon mustard (or something) and sautéed onions. Had to ask for extra Bloody Mary ketchup because it tasted dry. Fries were plentiful and alioli dip ok, but my neighbour's country fries looked much better! The choice of Happy Hour beers was pityful, so it was a pretty dismal meal... Perhaps all the locals order other things off the menu, which explains its popularity, but I was not impressed... Sorry!
I like this place a lot but my one complaint is their very strange pricing. I have even discussed this with the owners but they do not understand my reasoning. The problem is that during lunch one drink is included for a select meal, however if you want another meal the drink is fairly expensive, in addition if you want to for example replace your fries you pay quite a lot extra as well which can lead to for example the "kebabtallrik" to end up around 159 sek which is the most expensive lunch in town. And the food is great but you can't really compare a "kebabtallrik" with the places that offer a buffé of several fancy dishes including desert buffé

The burgers are really good here! We had nachos as a starter (sharing a plate with the 3 of us) and after that we ordered burgers and fries with milkshakes and we were really so full after our meal that we did not order a dessert. Only minus was that we really had to wait a long time to pay before we could leave.
