There once was an Irish city… You might think "naughty poem" when you hear the word Limerick, but in truth the city inspires so much more than just knowing giggles. Medieval castles and churches give the city a grand feel, while the pubs crawl with lively locals and students who are all craving just one more pint of Guinness. You donât need to go far to find a great Limerick restaurant, because on the first floor of the Absolute hotel you will find Harryâs which is as vibrant and diverse as Limerick City itself. Named after one of the cityâs first entrepreneurs, Sir Harry Hart
We had dinner at Harry's during our stay at the Absolute hotel in July. There restaurant was busy with a group booking but the staff made a quiet table by the window available for us and looked after us really well. The food was lovely and the wine list is interesting and extensive. There is also a range of local beers on tap. Limerick seems to have a range of excellent dining options, and Harry's is certainly one of them.Delighted you enjoyed your time spent with us! Big or small we treat every table equally so i'm happy to see you were looked after. I do hope you return to us in the near future and next time be sure to sample something off our amazing cocktail menu with special cocktails running almost every weekend! All the best.

Ordered chicken and waffles with coleslaw- absolutely awful-overcooked chicken, dry over baked waffles and sour coleslaw , this dish was priced almost â¬15.00 what a rip off. Toilets werenât cleaned properly either. I wouldnât recommend anyone going there. Awful food, overpriced and staff not particularly friendly and dirty toilets.

I recently went here for a meal with my husband and we had two fantastic steak dinners. The steaks where cooked exactly as we ordered and came with spinach and lovely chunky chips. The service was good and if course the pint of Guinness was delicious and creamy as always. Its one of msin reasons we go to Dolans. The only downside was we had a table in direct line of main door so we got a cold draught each time it was open. Great meal though and we will be back.

Absolutely delighted with the Glen Tavern. After suffering the truely awful O'Driscolls Bar on the other side of the river the day before, the Glen Tavern was a joy - everything you hope a traditional Irish pub should be... friendly helpful staff who were only too happy to put sport on the various screens around the pub, great food and that was well priced (and a good pint too) and pleasent fellow customers. For anyone drinking in the centre of Limerick City, I'd say give it a visitHi there wayoutsider, We are delighted to hear that we managed to turn your evening around for the better during your visit. Thank you so much for your lovely review and your recommendation of pub. We hope that next time you're around Limerick, you'll call in to see us again! Kind Regards, Ger.

Very unorganized pub, there were no tables inside so were told to order and pay for food and they would bring it to us outside at the picnic tables. Waited and waited in the cold and food did not come so went in and they asked what I ordered and it eventually did come. Seats came available inside but never told us and we sat out in the cold with a few other poor patrons. Food was just ok, nothing special or memorable here.

Family of 5 stopped in for a late lunch. We were warned that the Nellyâs Special Burger was big, but WHOA! It was impossible to eat all together. So delicious though! It was stacked high with two pattyâs cheddar cheese, bacon and onion rings. See photo...seriously SO BIG! None of the family could finish our meals as everything was of such hearty proportions.Cute charming interior with really great music. Would recommend.
