In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. But after such hard work, he was thirsty. And thus could think of nothing better than to create the grape and, from its fruit, make a fine spirit. He called it PISCO. And he saw that it was good. La
peruvian people use a particular word to describe small places to drink or eat that usually have a higher quality than other places.i was told to find a pisco sour coctail while in Lima and i went to this place thinking to learn about pisco, surprise, no museum at all, just a regular restaurant with a regular staff who just wants to offer you things to buy and making awful jokes about tiping in a barely broken english wich i did not find any funny.it was kinf of confusing learning about pisco and pisco sour from regular folks than from the people of this restaurant, i hope in the future they can change to a real museum and stop scamming the people with their name.

This restaurant/bar in Barranco has a unique entrance, decor and ambiance. We experienced some authentic Peruvian food as well, which was delicious. We had an assortment of items in one large platter, and everything was cooked well and had great flavors. Their pisco sour was excellent as well. We had a really great time that evening and I highly recommend trying it. The staff was great too.

...incredible. Somehow you really feel in another time. Different spaces to sit, simple decor, pretty loud, great drinks and sandwiches and other typical Peruvian dishes...awesome time. The turkey sandwiches and the chicken tamales were absolutely amazing, but the best was the picarones with the thickest most devious syrup you can imagine...The pisco sour was so refreshing...and not too strong, just as I like it!

I would not recommmed here for football games. I walked in for a game and the restaurant has been open for 2 hours, but the restaurant canât serve anything for the next 20 minutes since they have no plates. I suspected my ears and asked again, but I got the same answer. I figure I could wait, but the quality of TV screen was bad. I asked if there was another TV, but the hostess said there is only one TV. I left without entering the restaurant and walked over to Pardoâs Chicken to catch the game.Thank you for your comments, our restaurant counts with 2 high definition televisions per room and projectors, we invite you to visit us again, and be able to serve them as you deserve.

Our 1st bar in Lima, Peru! 20 craft beers and more than 30 different bottles, also the best hamburgers, wings and snacks made with our beer! We open all the year at midday!
We ended up here after looking for a good bar and something quickly to eat around our hotel. The bar is pretty well known for it's large selection of beers and they do have a lot of them for all taste and flavors. They also have some good burgers including vegetarian ones and they come pretty quick after ordering including fries (the local ones not the french style ones) and dipping. Service is quick and friendly though the place when we visited was packed however we didn't have to wait too long for ordering or paying. The prices are quite decent if you take into account that the bar is located next to Kennedy Park and is pretty well knows. Music of course is rock. Overall we had a very nice evening, ate well and drank some interesting local beers. So if you want a relaxed evening I would definitely recommend the place.

We drank our way around Barranco and stumbled across this traditional bar by chance. The only thing we tasted were the Pisco Sours and we weren't disappointed! It was not too busy as it is away from the main bar strip.

Bistro 400 has a trendy modern look, both in terms of its decor and food. The Amazonian paella was tasty, especially the accompanying hot sauce. Great little pub with a quality selection of beers. Walked over here after some bad service across the street, and we were so happy we did. They have beers from all over Peru, including one my girlfriend loved from Sacred Valley. She was excited to have it again before our trip back home.I tried a few of their beers and was happy with the outcome. Overall, definitely go here and skip those wild men across the street!
