I donât know who writes the reviews for yelp and trip advisor, But if they say this restaurant is any good, they are terrible liars! My husband and I wanted something Italian and we looked at the reviews. So we gave it a shot! We hadnât even been seated when a server came over and wanted to know what we wanted for an appetizer. We had no water had not even looked at the menu and wanted a cocktail. By the way there was no one else in the restaurant. A sure sign! We told him we needed some time. He brought the drinks but he was back on that appetizer! Again what did we want? We said we didnât want an appetizer. I looked at the menu and decided on spaghetti Bolognese. But I would like a meatball. This is an Italian restaurant and they do not serve meatballs!! My husband also went with the spaghetti. I did not want a salad and I excused myself and went to the restroom. When I came back my husband looked at me. They had brought his salad with blue cheese dressing and it was rancid! At this point we got up and found the manager. He was useless. He kept giving us excuses, and excuses were not what we wanted to hear. He said that the restaurant does not serve meatballs! An Italian restaurant â no meatballs! The servers need severe training. There are way too many awesome restaurants in this area. Do not go to Johnnyâs Italian steakhouse.Thank you for your feedback and patronage. Brian was the manger on duty and he did call me the evening of your experience. He mentioned you wanted a specific Italian dressing we didnât offer and some Italian meatballs, both of which he didnât know how to accommodate at the time. Iâm sorry for your frustrations. I was pleased he made the effort to call me. I assure he would do anything within his ability to accommodate as well.We love to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests. Iâm sorry we failed you here. We will always prepare things that are not offered on our menu if we have the product available and the guests has the time.I assure you most rave about our service and cuisine. Our business model does not rush our much valued guests out the door. We desire to be very present, but not overbearing. We do encourage our servers to offer appetizers as most people love them. Iâm sorry this frustrated you. I will follow up with the server.I hate to hear you didnât stay to enjoy your meals you ordered. We appreciate you and are very sorry you didnât get the real Johnnyâs Italian Steakhouse experience. If you would like to discuss your experience more in depth, please reach out to me personally.Iâd love to see you enjoy some great service and awesome cuisine. Iâm happy to suggest some of our very popular and highly recommended items. If you have the time I can even personally prepare you some meat balls and special Italian dressing.I hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you.Kind Regards,Joe PoyeGeneral [email protected]

My wife, my adult sons and I went there of an early dinner on a Saturday. We were seated immediately despite the NCAA basketball tournament going on. Service was friendly and efficient. The burgers were delicious, with an interesting selection. I had a forester burger, cooked perfectly medium-rare. My families burger were also good. We got three starters - asparagus/mushrooms, stuffed peppers, and fries with truffle oil and cheese. Everything was tasty. The peppers had a nice heat to them, and the fries were done perfectly.

When it comes to pizza, everyone can agree itâs the perfect pick-me-up. No question. But ask people what style of pizza reigns supreme? Well, thatâs the real debate, isnât it? Does the title go to Chicagoâs deep dish, with itâs endless amounts of hearty m
Decor is like you are in an NYC subway (and that enhances eating why?) but I did not hold that against the place. Deep dish pizza could rival that found in Chicago itself, though I do wish they had cooked it a bit longer. Fun place to hang out with friends and family and linger and have long dinner and drinks. Glad downtown Mason is coming alive with places like this.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a wonderful review. We are happy to hear that you had an overall great experience at Two Cities and we look forward to having you back again!Sean & Zach ~ Founders

We have come back to this restaurant several times and I am consistently impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We sit at the bar and order dinner - however there are tables available. Restaurants at Liberty Center are often booked on weekend nights. This place offers a good dining option even if you aren't going to see a movie. They have outdoor tables with a view of the street and park. The menu is not extensive but there is something for everyone. Our meals are always served quickly and hot.

We threw a surprise birthday party for my husband and I can say "WOW"! What a great experience from the beginning to the end. Started planning this event in the Spring. Natalie, the event coordinator for Rivertown, was awesome to work with. She is pleasant, welcoming, and so very organized. Only good things to say! Carly was our server on the celebration day. She gave outstanding service and always with a smile. Both Natalie and Carly were so attentive. The party was awesome. And the food... OMG... delicious! Our guests commented on how great the food was and I agree!. Totally recommend Rivertown Brewery & Barrel House! We'll be back!Eva,You are so thoughtful to take the time to share your experience & shoutouts! We really appreciate you choosing to host your birthday bash with us & celebrate at Rivertown : )We cannot wait to take care of you again soon!-Lindsey

As if having the best pizza is town is not enough, you had to outdo yourself and have the best (and most generous pour of) pints as well.Top that by being a laid- back, welcoming place with staff that seem to enjoy working here, you have a recipe for success. Aren't we pizza and pint customers the lucky ones? Thanks for the awesome review! Come back and see us!

Our family of five adults ate here for a Sunday dinner. We each got sushi (California roll, Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll, Eel, Yellowtail, Shrimp Tempura roll, Spider roll), which we liked. However, the Spicy Tuna Rolls had too much sauce on them; each person who ordered them ended up scraping off half of it before eating it. We ordered desserts, and although we enjoyed them, they were WAY WAY too large; the Butter Cake was ok for one person, but the Triple Stacked Brownie could easily have served 3-4 people. I wish our server had been honest about that, instead of just saying, "the servings are rather large." The Carrot Cake was about a third of a cake, and could have served three people.

Ate dinner at the Clubhouse last week. Obviously, this is not a fine dining establishment, but for a sports bar it was very good. Large menu with lots of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers and entrees. We started with an order of soft pretzel sticks which were great! Soft pretzels with a cheese dipping sauce. Between the 4 of us we enjoyed a taco salad, an order of chicken wings, a chicken sandwich, and spicy cajun pasta. All were very good. We also added an order of brussels sprouts -- they were fantastic! Nicely grilled in a tangy sauce. Great service. Lots of TVs on the wall. So go for the food, drinks and sports, and always remember to order the brussels sprouts.
