Things to do in Les Menuires
Ho36 imagined a restaurant with a fun and offbeat atmosphere offering simple and tasty cuisine, a signature cocktail bar open to all, and a terrace for 50 people. It is the place of conviviality par excellence! On the menu: a fresh and tasty menu will off
Funky hippy place. Great location, walking distance to central meeting point. Easy enough to cut across the carpark, take lift up, cross over the road to the main lifts. Rooms small but clean. Bathroom dark and very basic. Donât understand why French bathrooms do not have shower curtains. We had arrived on a Thursday after a long flight from Asia. Checked in, rented skis, ate in the hotel (or should I say hostel) and settled in for an early night to rest up for ski-ing next morning. All fine to this point. Was given room right outside lift, so could hear everyone who came onto the floor. Just the luck of the draw with room location. However, 10:30 at night, boom boom boom boom, loud music starts up. Thought it was one of the guests so waited a while. At about 11pm went up to front desk to ask them to investigate. Staff were very apologetic and said the owner/manager is available but thereâs nothing they can do and to speak to him directly.Spoke with said gentleman, who basically didnât give two hoots about the noise. He wasnât apologetic and was aware that you could hear the music in the rooms. Turns out this is a weekly event at H036, where it goes on until 12:30am. His exact response to the noise was âthis is a hostel not a hotelâ. At over â¬200 a night, Iâd imagine that the bear minimum one should be able to expect is a noise free room. I understand hostels are extremely flexible with check in time, while check in here is 4pm (only hotels in the Maldives have later check in time than this hostel). Check out time is a very strict 11am, again even 5 star hotels have later check out times and are flexible. We had to pay an extra charge for a slightly later checkout. The restaurant is served by fantastic staff in the evening. Pleasant, hard working and are a credit to this place. If not for them, this would be a 1star review. The other star is simply for location. The morning service however, 2 out of 3 mornings, they couldnât even get the boiled eggs right (cracked the eggs only to have raw eggs spill all over our plates). If you can sleep through anything, then this is well located. Pay attention to the locks on the doors however as the locks are close to the frame and itâs very easy to trap your fingers. If you value your sleep, like me, then this isnât the place for you.

Service was nice and kind. We went there straight after skiing, that was 16.30-17.00. Unfortunatly no normal menu was offerred at this hour. Only burgers. I ate the classique one. It was OK. The price also average, same as in the places nearby. Kind service and atmosphere.

With over thirty years of existence, this restaurant today combines the experience and modernism. In a new ambiance warm, discover, thanks to two young managers Aveyron, a typical mountain restaurant. Authenticity and dynamism are the watchwords of the te
Went as a group and served quickly and attentively. Servers answered our questions and the food was amazing. Ordered the BOITE CHAUDE mont dâor AOP, sélection de charcuteries, pommes de terre, salade, very big serving and quite good. Two burgers were very good with good sized salad and fries, you can tell the bun was homemade, meat was fresh and cooked as requested. The pizza was huge and really good. Priced well and great spot to enjoy the mountains.Hello,Thanks for sharing your feedback with us.We're really happy to read that you all had a good and tasty time at La Maison!Thank you very much for your recommendation. We hope to see you next time,Best regards.Fabien

Our waiter, Tiffany, did a very enthusiastic and professional presentation of the fresh meats available. Her suggestion of an off-the menu flank steak style beef for two was spot on. Also the Syrah wine was an excellent match for the steak. Tiffany, I love you!Hello DaddyNull,Thanks for sharing your feedback with us!We're happy to read that you loved our steaks & wine and spent a great time at the Club 72!Thank you very much for your recommendation, Tiffany and all our team will be happy to read your feedback! We hope to see you very soon!Best regards.Fabien

Top of Roc One ski lift. Typical mountain fare. Ate at restaurant and snack bar. Food looks good. Pizza and salads especially so. Panini were best choice of snacks. Chips average. Good place to meet but book if you want lunch.

Went for lunch a couple of times. Friendly staff, food variable, lovely location at top of Bruyeres 1 lift.Good food was Tarte Beaufort, Cafe Gourmand, Salade Savoyarde, average was omelette Savoyarde,Tartiflette. On very sunny days staff hand out white trilby hats, all one size so can be amusing! Best tables go to those who have booked, but we managed to get tables when turning up on spec. Not my favourite place, but our friends liked it.Bonjour Jerseyman !Thank you for you review. It is true, best tables go to those who have booked, depending also of the number of clients... same in every restaurant isn't it ? We ate here for lunch. It is cantina style service, but expect to wait 10 mins for your food to arrive. This is because it is all freshly prepared - and it shows. I had the burger and it was excellent. Surprisingly great food for the side of a ski slope.

Good quality restaurant that serves an excellent and welcome pizza for a reasonable price (c Euro 15). Other dishes a little more expensive than average but portions looked huge. Service is friendly. Food accompanied by a DJ who was playing (to my elderly ears strange but invigorating) music that one of my children told me was electronic dance music. The place for a long lunch especially if you are under 30!
