Reviews on Bar food in Lagos, Algarve, Portugal. There is rich and beautiful history within Lagos’ 14th century walls, from its fortress to picturesque churches like Medieval São João Hermitage and the 17th-century São Sebastião. But that’s all appetizer. People come here for a main-course coastal buffet featuring more than a half-dozen beautiful beaches. Quiet sandy coves are sandwiched between dramatic cliffs. The sandy 2.5-mile stretch of Meia Praia caters to every water sport imaginable. And when you’ve had your fill, you can digest your day with some of the best nightlife in the Algarve region.

With an urban but rustic authenticity, we offer our own range of unique cocktails and delicious pizzas and sandwiches for a price that won't make your eyes bulge. We're one of very few places in town serving food until 2AM! Chill by day, #1 party street b
We went to â Dogtownâ for a late Pizza supper and a couple of drinks and we were not disappointed!! The pizzaâs we shared were tuna & salami, both crisp and the toppings tasty! The drinks were supplied by a very friendly bartender, which made supper even more enjoyable. Thank you!!Thanks David, very glad you enjoyed your meal!

Went for dinner with a couple of friends to this place for the first time.It was what I expected and more because of the all experience. The staff is 5 stars, especially our server âAlejandroâ!The âJalapeño and Pineappleâ sauce is hands down the best sauce Iâve had on Mexican food. They should consider selling their sauces as theyâre amazing.Only thing âbadâ thing I have to say is the menu isnât that varied, and was pretty surprised they didnât have tacos.Would definitely be back!

Alma Do Mar is a newly opened restaurant which sits along the avenida, on top of the newly developed underground car park. With dishes to cater for all tastes and enviable views of the Marina entrance which flow out to the Atlantic ocean, its a must visit
We landed here on a late aftnoon and enjoyed a good sparkling sangria (which was pretty high priced compared to other places though). Yet, we noticed their Tomahawk steak offering. 43 eur for two but the waiter noticed that it could perfectly do for three. Which we did two days later. And indeed, the meat was cooked to perfection and more than enough for three (including a kid). Side dishes were just perfect, waiting staff caring and friendly, interacting fantasticly with the children. Final bill was acceptable and we were totally happy. Conclusion: a recommended place to go, we didnât experience this as a tourist trap amongst the many that are to be found in Lagos. Thank you very much DeWolf77. A thorough and excellent review - your recognition is much appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

+ young, fun and cool staff, loud and nice funky atmosphere, very big portions(!), original potato fries! Not overpriced! Cool place. - I ordered the steak which came with a great salad and fries BUT the steak was unfortunately very overdone and the plate was drenched in a sauce which killed the other flavors. Would be a lot better if the sauce was plated separately.

Your local home from home...the most entertaining bar in Lagos, "O Artista" - "The Artist" - is creative in all that it offers. Famous for its awesome atmosphere, excellent entertainment and fabulous food.
Unexpectedly surprised o this first visit - second visit wasnât as good.We dropped by here for dinner. There are so many restaurants and cafes in Lagos itâs easy to get confused about which one to choose. This place had one of the best meals we had in Portugal on the first night. There were a lot of retired folks here and the live music caters to this crowd - but the music was excellent both nights we dropped by here. Reasonable price as well.Itâs too bad the 2nd night fell a bit short

American Inspired diner has the best home made meals, open from lunch to dinner with a large terrace.Big is better !!
I came to Rockafellas on a June evening and overall the restaurant was OK but not stunning. The service was very quick and friendly but the Vegetable Fajitas were not overly filling and were expensive for what they were. Also from our table you could see staff smoking on their break. This is not a must visit but is my no means a terrible restaurant.

Stumbled across this little place down a lovely side street in Lagos. Given that it was a Monday night in early October, most restaurants were either closed or very empty however Barbosa was packed. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who allowed us to sit at the bar and order a drink while we waited for a table. The menu was impressive with many different types of dishes to choose from - tapas/mains/salads etc The quality of food was outstanding - very tender meat and superb tapas. The atmosphere was great and the surroundings were cosy. Thanks for a great meal! Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us this fantastic review. We're very pleased to hear you had a great time. Come back soon!
