Traditional and sophisticated French cuisine - Fresh products - home made. Menu with starter + dish + dessert from 33â¬/person.
It was my first time coming back to this restaurant since the new owner in 2018 and new chef. With all the advertising I was quite excited to test LâEskell. The plus of this restaurant is the view. Beautiful view on Carnacâ main beach. However, I must say that we have been very disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. We tool the signature menu at 55 euros. The foie gras was very nice and tasty. However the kind of brioche served with it was as hard as a stone and the other bread served was not nice. Then my mum took the fish âbarbueâ which was so-so. Quite tasteless. For me I took the rabbit which was ok but nothing special. For the desert I took the chocolate one which was nice and my mum the fruit one which was too sweet. Overall it was overpriced regarding the food quality. The service was poor for this kind of restaurant. To me itâs more a good place to have a drink (beautiful view) rather than having dinner. Dear EstelleSinga, thank you for choosing Restaurant Eskell and for reviewing us. As explained to your mother in the comment she left, I feel both delighted that you were seduced by the exceptional view of our restaurant on the bay of Quiberon and terribly disappointed to read that despite this your experience was not as pleasant as expected... I take good note of your feedback regarding the service and gastronomy, in order to improve these, and wish you an excellent day, Marie

Stopped here with 5 other motorcyclists for our lunch and none of us were disappointed.Staff were friendly and helpful, always a bonus in France.A nice place to while away some time.

Went in for dinner, ordered seafood casserole and steak with potatoes, red house wine and creme brûlée for dessert. Service was efficient, free wifi, food was good and well portion, wine was good, dessert was delicious. Seafood casserole was a bit salty to my liking, also too many mushy mussels, would prefer a bit more fish and prawn that gave more layers and texture to the taste. Cream brûlée was huge in portion and very delicious. Overall it was a good restaurant.

This still remains the best bar in La Trinite in terms of atmosphere, and it is certainly the most popular, but apparently popularity could also have negative effects. At least that was our impression on New Year's Eve when after ordering mojitos, etc, we discovered that cocktails were no longer served and had to move elsewhere.

Yes it's been that long since we last came. A stones throw from a lovely beach and despite having the monopoly this restaurant doesn't disappoint. We called in during a busy summers day when there were only tables available inside, we weren't put off as we received a warm welcome and very attentive service. The four of us ordered a variety of meals from Moules and Frites to good old Steak. The food arrived piping hot and was well cooked and presented; portions were generous too. In fact in the case of the moules, there were so many my companion had to admit defeat and left around 18 if not more. My steak was just divine and melted in my mouth. Please do pay them a visit, they really do deserve their popularity. My hope is it won't be so long before we return, très bon!

We reserved a table overlooking the beach and sea for our 43rd wedding anniversary. It was a good job we did that as the place was very busy, with the tables that have views all full. The food was pretty average for a French eatery. Nothing special, other than my wife's pudding which consisted of lots of delicious little dishes. The staff were very busy and distracted by the numbers of diners. However, the view of the sunset over the beach and sea was well worth every penny we had spent on the meal.

A very busy restaurant for Saturday lunch with an interesting menu, staff energy and delcicious food. My husband had the Vegan Salad, maybe the best he has had in France on this trip - with lots of lettuce, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, nuts and awesome dressing. I had salmon, perfectly cooked, over a bed of mashed potatoes and pesto sauce - interesting combination. While the restaurant was very busy, the staff did not miss a beat. Beautiful decor with a wall with a variety of plants growing in a unique decor. Thank you for a delicious and special lunch.
