Things to do in Kea
Not in a good, nostalgic way but because back then we were kids and we would drink whatever awful cocktail we were offered, pay loads of money for it,and get no receipt. The style of the place was the old-school "let's charge loads of money and get as much as we can from the customers that are now here and not care if they ever come back" the bar-tending was amateurish, with unacceptable mistakes such as putting ice inside a cosmo, I mean who does that???even if you have no idea and you google it,you won't get a single image of a Cosmo with ice..!we only went there cause a few years back the place was actually a good cocktail bar and we thought it was the same.anyway the management got what their "business-plan" was from us: took our money and we are not going back!!only up-side was the waitress who was polite and helpful..

The historical bar of Kea loves rock and flirting with reaggae, pop & dance music! LEON BAR offers great coctails, drinks, special Greek beers and lot of fun from dusk till dawn!! Open everyday at 19:00.
I went here on the last night of my trip, and although it looks fun i was not that impressed.Decor and ambiance is great, with tables and benches lined along the street ( you sit with your back to a church court yard) and candles etc. Service is extremely polite, and the girls are smiley and more than willing to help. My gripe is with the prices. As a person that has visited many islands/countries and having had many drinks in other places i could not justify the price i paid for four drinks there, especially when two of the drinks were just normal spirits not cocktails. I would think that in this day and age, with the crisis Greece is going through that there would be a bit more consideration to such things.Honestly i have paid less on far more cosmopolitan islands. Other than that, its a lovely bar and i would have probably gone back if they were a bit more economical.
Cafe bar, located 48 stairs from the Central square of Ioulis, Kea, on the way to the ancient Lion of Kea. Enjoy your pizza and beverages, and our signature cocktails!

I loved the view to the dock with the boats, the music, the thematic marine decoration with fish. My drink was a summer cocktail at a reasonable price for this time of the year (9 â¬). I didn't stay till late but I believe it's one of the most promising bars in the island.

Espresso-cocktail bar
We moored our yacht right opposite the bar, and picked up their wifi, so we thought we would go for a drink to get the wifi password. We were worried it would be tremendously expensive, so were pleasantly surprised when two ouzos with meze was only six euro. The staff were very friendly, we sat at the front of the balcony with a view over the harbour. Sadly, the wifi was limited to two hours, so we couldn't use it continuously when we returned to our boat, but nevertheless we enjoyed our drinks in this bar, the ambience and surroundings were lovely.

Brilliant place at Vourkari, including a reasonable variety of choices that meet almost all tastes. Repeatedly visited Breeze and would recommend it to anyone.

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The facilities are good and you can have breakfast, have your coffee and have lunch later. Prices are high but are not justified by the slow service of otherwise noble waiters. We ate there but I do not think it worth the time to do it again. Nothing special and we waited 45 minutes for the order to come.

the surroundings are wonderful, the view is truly magical, the food though is over rated. we are a family of 4 (2 children 8+10 years old). We ordered katsikomakaronada, mpiftekia, kritharoto thalassinon and another dish which i dont remember plus a salad and one small bottle of ouzo. we paid 95 euros. pls do the math!one thing i have to admit is that the quantities in the plates were huge! this is the reason of my rating at 4 (otherwise i would have rated it for 3/5)
