This is one of our favorites for breakfast. Our visit last week-a weekday-did not go perfectly, but the manager quickly remedied the problem and we were more than satisfied. This place is consistently very good, and I still highly recommend it for breakfast!

Nothing beats a great beer bar, but for the longest time, these establishments overflowing with craft beer options were difficult to find in my area of west Houston. Now, I have a couple places within minutes of my house and one that I like and still visit is Growler USA. Growler USA is part of a small but growing nationwide chain that opened this Katy, Texas branch not too long ago. Being a beer writer, I was anxious to check this place out and I was one of the first people to visit. I took one look at the long row of taps, 100 strong, and immediately fell in love. They serve a very wide variety of beer styles and continuously rotate so that you can always find something you like. To help keep things organized and help eliminate errors, Growler USA numbers all of its beers on the menu and on an electronic display above the bar. Tracking beer by number means less chance that the customer or the server will make a mistake and bring the wrong beer. And when you have this many choices, you need an efficient way to serve and the numbering system seems to work well. Besides the beer, Growler USA has you covered on the food end with a small menu of items that match well with beer. They serve several good- tasting appetizers like wings, hummus, and loaded tator tots, plus wraps, sandwiches, and a few desserts. I usually start off with an appetizer then order a wrap, making sure to keep filling my beer glass or flight sampler along the way. They have wine on tap, too.Growler USA is on the small side and it has an atmosphere that is like a sports bar. The interior can get crowded and noisy due to the size. They have outdoor seating, too, but itâs limited. The size is one thing I wish was different, but who knows what the future may bring? If they continue to enjoy success, they might move to a larger location in the future. Beer bars are my favorite places in the world and Growler USA has become a family fave due to its massive beer selection, tasty bar bites, and friendly service. If you love craft beer and live in the Houston area, you need to make it a point to visit this establishment, just to gaze in awe at the lengthy row of taps as you ponder your selection. Itâs a great addition to the Katy, TX area and one of my favorite hangouts.

This was our first visit to Mo's. It is a large venue with indoor and outdoor seating, lots of TVs located in various rooms with booths, standard tables and high tables seating including at the bar. The food was typical pub food and beers with a good selection of both. Signs around the room displayed various games on certain nights of the week.

The burgers are delicious and the fries are even better. Everyone ordered a different burger... after the first bite there was silence (very unusual and a sign the food is too good to spend time talking). After the burgers were devoured we fought over the fries. There were 6 of us and 2 large orders was more than enough. The lunch lady and truffle laced fries were better than expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order!

We recently stopped in for a late lunch and were able to take advantage of some Happy Hour drink specials. Several cocktails for $5 plus beer $3. While restaurant was not busy, the service was slow considering.We had a starter of fried calamari which came w/ 2 dipping sauces. For entrees we tried the honey chipolte tacos and the fish-n-chips. Overall, food was good but nothing remarkable. Pricey for lunch as the tab was about $50 for two people.Thank you for your feedback. This is about the closest place to where we live and there is something on the menu for everyone. This trip we went late on a Sunday afternoon. The TV's had NFL, Baseball, and Golf. The place was not busy and the food was good as well as the service. The only real complaint is the dining room was way to cold.

We had a party of 10 so we needed reservations which was made several weeks in advance so no problem with seating. Don was our server and was very accommodating and attentive.We enjoyed grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, chili churri medallions, NY strip, steak salad, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, redfish and 3 kids meals. All was prepared really well and everyone was happy.Great service, great food so not much else to ask for!

This was my first time at this restaurant and I had an excellent business lunch experience at Whiskey Cake. The farm to table concept is very well executed with an established menu that is tasty and eclectic. The roasted chicken was amazingly succulent, perfectly spiced as was the corn pudding and grilled rapini. My Server was very attentive, well educated on their offerings and made wonderful suggestions including the Whiskey Cake desert which is a solid rival to stalwarts like the bread pudding at Commander's Palace. The facilities are easy to find, offer low noise, attractive and clean with indoor/outdoor seating options and there is ample parking. This is a winner!
