We came to Jost on a Stormy Pirates Charter...most of the others on the "cruise" went to Soggy Dollar...ya know- cause it's famous and all. We went to Gwrtrudes.. I got the Fish Poti. O. M. G......was amazing!!! so glad I made the choice for Gertrudes!!

This little restaurant was featured years ago on the Food Network for the Lobster Quesadilla featured here. Delicious. The only blended drink is a Bushwacker (this top secret recipe has been a tradition here for years as well. We had not been here since before the devastation of the 2017 Hurricaines and they are still painting some of the newly reconstructed structure, but the ambiance and food remains as good as pre-Irma.We began our progressive meal of the day at this the farthest establishment down the beach from where we landed our dinghy. We'll be back!

Arrived before lunchtime to have a few drinks. The bartender was probably the rudest i have ever encountered. She did not really want to make my drink. I requested a Painkiller but not as sweet. She commented well thats a custom drink. She rolled her eyes and walked away. So i asked so does that mean you can make it? Our group of 5 were the only ones at the bar so you can see how i was taken back by her comment. She continued to be rude to everyone. We tried to complement her and she never acknowledged one comment. She was complaining about not getting a break or food. Sounds like management problem not ours.

Spent an amazing evening as the only dinner guests at Coco Locos after all the day trippers departed. The only thing better than the food and drinks was the amazing views and the friendly service! Everyone was happy with the pizzas, cheeseburger, hot dog and fish tacos and the special Bushwhackers were by far the best in the islands. Loy is the sweetest lady and we enjoyed chatting with her about life, family and rebuilding after Hurricane Irma. Donât head to Great Harbor for the more famous names - enjoy a relaxing time right in White Bay. We will definitely be back!

Taboo re-opened on Jan 1, 2019. We are open daily for lunch and try to stay open to accommodate early dinners. We are working to 'return to normal'. Come see us!!
We had been to Foxys but instead this trip went to Foxys Taboo... beautiful setting... small intimate and nice beach bar.. the food is fantastic and we had the pleasure of meeting Justin and Dean! One of the highlights of our trip!

Drinks were great, fast service, and the portions amazing (glad we weren't driving). Atmosphere was very energetic and the staff were very friendly. Value for money was also excellent.

So the big thing is Soggy dollar, right...but the drinks and food at Hendo was so much better! Bartender were friendly, the bar area was great for a group chat or meeting other travelers. Dinner was tasty with good portions. I would say skip Soggy dollar (go wave at the webcam) but eat and drink at Hendoes.

We started our Caribbean Pub Crawl with a trip to see Vinny and Dave at Corsairs. Always fun, with great food, drink and company. We were there for breakfast and our group thoroughly enjoyed the Crab Cake Eggs Benny and Breakfast Burritos. Vinny convinced us to start our morning with his famous Voodoo Punch and it was a great way to start our day! Great place! The wives in our group chuckled very hard at a T-Shirt in the gift shop that said, âDrunk Wives Matterâ. I think my wife will order one online.

B-Line is exactly what someone should expect of a BVI beach bar. Located on âlittle Jostâ, it is as minimal as it gets, what a great experience for those looking to enjoy a place off the beaten path. If you are looking for a perfect bar at the end of the world, check it out. Heads up, there is no dock, be ready for a hefty swim in to the bar. Depending on the seas and the boat size, you may be moored quite a way off shore. I donât know of any other way to get there other than by boat. Note: this adds to how great the place is.

The Lime Inn restaurant is located in downtown Cruz Bay and has been a favorite between locals and visitors alike since 1984. Our goal is for you to sit back and relax as you enjoy our delicious cocktails, hand-picked wines, and cold beers while sampling
Surprisingly, this was a canopied outdoor restaurant but, also surprising was how good the food was! The ribs were the hit of the night. We were just sorry that they closed for the season before we could come back for a second meal in August. We'll definitely return on our next St. John visit!
