There is plenty of fresh fish on Treasure Island Beach, but the best place to get it is at Eggy's on the Beach. The fishing boats come in constantly so you know the fish is fresh. Eggy fixes it fried, stewed, steamed, or escoveitched. Take your pick. Required dress for dinner is a t-shirt and shorts. You are overdressed in anything else. It is 100% outside dining on the beach. Eggy comes out to sit with the guests when time permits. The bar is satisfactory. And they also have good virgin drinks; we had tropical fruit smoothies. They also serve breakfast. When compared to other locations in the area, the prices are very good.

I ate at LTU several times this visit, in part because I was staying across the street at LTU Garden (formerly Catcha Falling Star Garden). Both places are now owned by a lovely Italian-Jamaican couple who are making improvements while keeping everything we love about both places intact. I had a couple of breakfasts - French toast with banana & papaya (yum!) and a bacon, callaloo, and mozzarella cheese omelet (delicious). For my first dinner on the rock, I had my favorite red snapper stuffed with callaloo and cheese. In addition, I had a delicious jerk snapper sandwich for lunch one day. Dinner and breakfast service was great, while lunch was a bit slower than normal. We did speak to the new owners about this issue and they took it very seriously and are working to make sure it does not happen again. Jason in the bar was awesome and made me a fantastic dirty banana. I love the ambiance and view from LTU -never ceases to take my breath away.

Jack Sprat is a restaurant thatâs really about communityâitâs where the village comes to hang out. Itâs considered the headquarters of eating and drinking in Treasure Beach. And the jerk crab is off the charts.
Very understated beachside experience where you can get local specialties. The jerk chicken pizza was delicious. Nice to watch the sun go down. Can swim at their beach.

For my birthday celebration, on a whim we decided to eat at this restaurant. What a fabulous experience. The view alone was worth coming here. Nestled amongst the rocks along the 7 Mile beach, this place offers a panaramic view of nature's paradise. Open sea as far as the eye can see on the west side provided views of a brilliant sunset. For diinner, I ordered the oxtail. The seasonings were sublime. The tails themselves were a little on the tough side and could have marinated a little longer. The peas and carrot that accompanied them were perfection. For desert, I was presented with a rare piece of rum cake. It was delicious.I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience a unique Jamiacan dining experience.

Great local place. Best Jerk Pork in town. Highly recommended. This should definately be listed!
A true local bar in most every respect. Nice atmosphere, quite welcoming, lots of locals and tourists hanging together. Red Dragon is "off the (tourists') beaten path" on a side street in downtown Negril, but not at all far to drive to. Beer is ice cold and low price. Every time we go its always buzzing with customers having a good time.

Stayed at the property on a recent trip and had 3 meals here. Our dinner the first night was very disappointing. We were sampling dishes to potentially have an event here. The only dish that we had that was ok was the curry shrimp. Figured it was on off night which happens. We had breakfast next morning the coconut toast was burnt on one side undone on the other. The pancakes were flat and mushy had to get them redone.Tried the Jamaican breakfast the next day the ackee and salt fish had so many bones in it I had to leave half of it on the plate. I was done. They need a chef. Maybe your experience will be better and I do hope it is but the third time was no charm for me. Too many other great places to enjoy a good meal.Thank you for choosing to dine in our restaurant. We are deeply disappointed your experience was less than satisfying. We are equally appalled that our food never matched your expectation, as this is the highlight of our restuarnt offering fresh , delicious farm to table meals. We do hope you may visit again in the future.
