I met some colleagues here that rave about this place. When I pulled into the parking lot I was expecting a dive bar with great chicken wings. I was blown away at the menu. It was chalked full of scallops, muscles, filet, lobster mac and cheese and other high-end dishes. They have a great beer selection as well. The staff was extremely friendly. The scallops appetizer was probably the second or third best scallops I have ever had (and I eat scallops a lot). The lobster mac and cheese with gouda cheese special was the second best lobster mac and cheese I ever had. I will be back for sure and I live 45 minutes away. The last thing that ties it all together is the prices. Considering the quality of the food and the quantity this might be the best deal going in the great Pittsburgh region!

We stopped to the Double Wide Grill for lunch and then went back to meet friends for drinks later. Lunch was very good. I had the Grilled cheese with pear and bacon which I really enjoyed. I did not like my Garlic Vinegar coleslaw because the garlic was a bit overwhelming for me but if you like garlic you would enjoy it. My husband had the Jailhouse beef chili which he really enjoyed and Breakfast Burger which was cooked perfectly to order. It is a comfortable, cool place that all the locals must go to because everyone seemed to know everyone!

Johnny's Wife's Place II or JWP2 as its called is a favorite spot for locals. Conveniently located in Harrison City it's a great place for drinks or casual dining. They make great pizza, wings and sandwiches. They have a huge bottled beer selection and dozens of beers on tap. Great service, great food, great beer close to home.

Don't waste your time and money on this one. On line menu not the same as in house. Drinks pricey, waiters clueless, bar tender more interested in local customers and has no idea of wine available. Happy hour a joke with three appetizers offered and if this doesn't turn you off then the noise level will.

First off.......It's a Private Club. BUT......you can enjoy lunch there as a visitor. Second......It's worth the annual membership fee of $50 to enjoy the offerings here. And, there are some gimmees after reaching specific spending points. OK....now the food. Just wonderful !Oh.... You want more details ?Menu's heavy on the beef, and they do beef well here. Recommend the flat-iron steak, but be advised it's not the typical thin-sliced filet, but rather a hulkin' hunk a meat.Prime Rib on weekends, usually. Several specials, rotated often, as well as home-made soups. AND........Caesar Salad with Anchovies ! Just like it should be. (don't try to kiss momma goodnight after these, tho). Great veal and chicken selections, fresh fish and salads for the more sensible amongst us (you know who you are), and pasta in moderation. Full bar with foo-foo drinks for the ladies, beer for the gentlemen. Children's menu, too. Family friendly and casual environment: kinda dress jeans, but I spotted suits and one stunning lady wearing those....er.....back to the food. The Line knows what they are doing, and with a party of 8 on a Saturday night, there were no mistakes on the orders. Excellent Servers, too, with gentlemen to maintain decorum at table (fancy way of saying that they will clean up your spilled water quickly....wasn't me....really).Recommend Reservations on weekends, not so much for lunch. Great venue for a private party, once you join. Moderately priced with generous portions and they will accommodate special requests. Drink prices are reasonable with a generous pour. Join, go, dine, repeat ! Worth the effort.

We stopped by after visiting the Verizon store which is next door. They have lunch special and we had the shrimp, potatoes and cajun chicken with cheese sticks. The food was delivered very fast with a very nice server.

Whenever my wife and I get the chance (with no kids in tow), we come here to eat. The food is wonderful. You can clearly see the chefs preparing your food in the kitchen through a glass wall. They also have a pretty good beer selection with many drafts available. The best thing about the Firepit, for me, is LIVE MUSIC! There's no replacement for it. With many other places choosing to use recorded music all the time, I highly admire the Firepit's decision to have live musicians here and there.

We visited the Colonial Grill and Taproom with some friends a few days ago. It is a quaint little place with a fairly large dining room, bar (and taproom) We spent a few hours there chatting with our friends. The service was excellent. The drinks were quite good, and the wait staff , very courteous. We will definitely go back.

Great meal and service. Seafood Aglio Olio is superb. Fresh baked bread with the meals. My wife had stuffed flounder and mother had real marsala. Everyone left full and happy. Only problem with this restaurant is parking can be a headache. My sister and husband almost left and went home after trying to park for 20 minutes.
