If you are looking for great chicken wings, buffalo style, this is they place to go. They are crispy and sauce is amazing!!!!! Blue cheese is beyond fantastic. Fish fry is really good too. Bar is in front and there is a divider between bar and dining. I think it is kid friendly but you do hear bar talk from dining space. Best wings by far

The food and service are poor. The atmosphere is lively and it's right on the beach. Have a drink but skip the unremarkable food.

At the entrance of Sunset Bay, NY....service was excellent and the food was good. Kids liked the pizza here. WE had 4 meals and everyone was very happy. WE have been here before and they have improved since our last visit. Busy on Fridays for fish fries..large parking lot

We visited the Castaway's Waterfront Bar and Grill last week while we were staying at a cottage in Angola, New York. We had small children with us and eight adults. Even though this restaurant is rated the second best restaurant in Angola, NY, I would still give it an average rating because the physical plant of the restaurant was very worn and dirty. The food was decent bar food and the view of Lake Erie is very nice, but if the bar was compared to a Buffalo waterfront restaurant it would rate very low.

On our way from Chautauqua Lake to Buffalo and looked for a beachside restaurant. Found Turtle Joe's in Angola. The food was good and wait staff was friendly. I had the Phllly Cheese Steak sandwich (different from what you get in Philadelphia but good) and my wife had a salad with chicken. If you are looking for a place to have lunch with a beach view, Turtle Joe's is your place.
