We ate at BJ's Brewhouse yesterday for the first time. From the greeter to the server to the food, everything was so very, very good!! When we first arrived (without reservations) it looked like we had about a 20 minute wait. They seated us in about 5 minutes. The server greeted us and gave our table prompt attention. She was very nice and accurate in everything, too. I had the new mushroom melt burger. It was cooked exactly as I asked for and it couldn't have been better. My husband had the steak tips with asparagus and his was also very good. Our son ordered the ribeye, and again, it was cooked to perfection and he said it couldn't possibly have been any better. I would recommend the Brewhouse to anyone wanting a terrific mean with fantastic service!! I am sure we will return in the future, but if you go on a weekend night, reservations would probably be a very good idea. They are busy!

We've been there twice now, and I waited until after the second visit to write my review, in hopes that we would have a better experience the second time. And honestly, I gave them the third star simply because their staff is very friendly and because we really wanted to like the place. The young lady who took our order was either brand new, without any basic training, or she was seriously stoned. She could couldn't stay focused on us longer than 15 seconds and continued to miss what we were trying to order. She was very nice and friendly, but way out of her wheelhouse. All three of us were generally not pleased with our food and the banana pudding, (both times), had absolutely no hint of banana flavor, much less vanilla wafers. All three of us both times assume that it was weak vanilla pudding. And at the prices charged, there simply isn't anything worth going back the third time for.

Huntsville's Place to Eat, Drink and be Nerdy! Great food and an amazing Craft Beer list. Daily lunch and dinner specials. Like us on Facebook to see what we are up to!
We enjoyed lunch at this eclectic little place off Jordan Lane though it didn't really fit our preconceived notion of a "bistro." It's tucked tightly into a little strip center and was fairly crowded on the day we chose to give it a try. I suppose most of the food is good but we opted for their famous burgers. They were good - I won't rate them excellent - but they were good, prepared with chopped steak versus ground beef and with a fresh, soft bun and a variety of toppings. We were seated next to a family with two young kids and true to their name, the kids had toys spread across the table. That seemed a little "out there" in that the next kids that dumped the toy box out onto the table would likely get a little bit of the first kids' lunch leftovers. Regardless, service was very good. Ambience, for us at least, was average, at best. Not sure if we found anything there to make us want to go back. If I could give half-stars, this place would be a 3.5.

The four of us had Friday evening drinks at The Nook. The inside and outside are comfortable and ideal for a relaxing drink. The beer selection is extensive...overwhelming.Because of all the competition in Huntsville, The Nook is fairly quiet. Prices are high.

This restuarant is consistently good. Their bar drinks are excellent. My favorite lunch dish is their "warm chicken salad". It's actually a tender chicken breast on lettuce, dizzled with a delicious peanut sauce. Sushi and sashimi are good too. Coconut soup is great. Casual good place to eat.

A restaurant that loves beer and a bar that loves food. Over 20 craft beers on tap, big burgers and the freshest sushi in town. Your go-to for lunch, dinner and late-night, Drake's is a free-wheeling, fun-loving kind of joint. A place to hang out and let
My wife and I and other family members stopped at Drakes after being out and about all afternoon. We seated ourselves and were greeted fairly quick and the waitress took our drink orders almost right away. Our waitress Sam was quite attentive bringing us water, drinks and overall service. I enjoyed the chicken fingers very much along with the tater tots. My wife had the black bean burger with sweet potato waffle fries that she enjoyed! Others had a burger, grilled chicken and chili and everyone enjoyed their meals. Again kudos to Sam for attentive service!

Based on the other reviews, we must have hit an off day because neither of us were truly impressed with our meals. Stopped in for dinner--it was busy but not overly so--and were seated right away. Beers seemed to take awhile to get served, but there were several good local options we tried. Food was meh. I had Royal reds and they were not the highest quality and really tough to peel. I have had much better...my hubby had the All Saints catfish--it was like someone said--hey let's put all these things together and see what happens--not so good...not bad, just not something he'd order again. The okra was good; the corn cooked in some spicy oil which was way too hot...at least for us non-local types. So--food was just okay--might try it again if we're ever in the area /

Without question the worst bowl of soup Iâve ever tried to eat. It had clearly been sitting for a while, it was thick, gloopy and barely warm. That said .... everyone elseâs food looked good.

Stopped in after a hot afternoon and had the family with me. The crowds were here for a Saturday afternoon but the service was excellent. Even though the kitchen said no calzones after 3pm the recommendation was to have all the ingredients made into a pizza. Wow was that simple and great. The craft beers were amazing Great place for a Saturday afternoon.
