Went out for a relaxing steak dinner. My wife and I went to a chain steakhouse where we were seated. We waited for a waitress to get us water or something to drink. While we were waiting the staff bypassed us several times. After 20 minutes we got up and left. As we were leaving, we noticed Harold's Seltzer Steakhouse. We decided to go. We parked out front and went in. This was not a chain. This was very nice. The staff seated us immediately. Our waitress was so nice. Got drinks quickly while reading the menu. We ordered 1 meal of a ribeye steak and baked potato to share. The waitress brought the drinks, warm bread and butter, and water. We waited for our meal while relaxing and talking. Not too much longer, our steak and potato arrived. Two plates divided equally and cooked to order perfectly. The taste was mouthwatering delicious. It was great. I didn't feel rushed or ignored like in a chain restaurant. The food was great and the staff was super nice. The price was $$ and the service was 5 star. I will be back.Barry you captured the essence of what makes us different from 'the rest'-hence our motto "who does that?. Local roadside bar. The sort you pass by often but never go into. Finally took the plunge to try their signature pork tenderloin sandwich. Worth the trip. This is a definite local sports bar, dark cavern like, but friendly staff, extensive menu, full liquor as well as beer and wine. Food is very good and plentiful. Menu is quite extensive and there are periodic specials as well. The pork is fantastic, pounded thin, breaded and served on a roll with fries. There is a large back room with entertainment as well. Have been 3 times now and will return.

Stopped in for lunch before going grocery shopping today. I have seen this chain of restaurants all over the Tampa Bay area. Thursdays are a Fajita special so I ordered it along with a house margarita from the bar.The server was great. The environment was attractive and pleasant with may flat screen TV's.The margarita base was a mix that was very watery and tasted horrible. Two sips and I was done - didn't finish it. There steak fajitas came out steaming on a hot platter and had a great presentation. However, some sort of flavor enhancer had been added to the steak, onions and peppers. This detracted from the fajitas instead of adding to it.Maybe if I had stuck to a burger and a beer my experience might have been better.Based on other reviews I will give it one more try..............

Have never had a bad meal here. Fried chicken is one of the best in the area. They have about 30 different hamburgers, fish fry, Chopped Surliin, and on and on and in. Great comfort food at good prices in a casual surrounding. Always a good meal for a good price.

Was in the Hudson area, and stopped at Olliesdue to the reviews on TripAdvisor. Shrimp were excellent and had two sauces. The gumbo was great also. Rice and beans were tasty and the beers were cold! Quaint inside and out! Great service!

And you cannot go here for a quiet meal or even conversation. I guess I have finally found an establishment that I am too old to frequent. The menu is limited to bar type foods, the air conditioning blows only in certain places, the customers apparently come here for beer, beer, and beer and there were many seniors dining and drinking while we were there waiting to place our order. The burger and fries were actually tasty, just not tasty enough for us to want to return when there is better service, quieter places, and ecen better food near by.

We ate there for the first time and ordered crab cakes as an appetizer...2 large ones. Very good. I ordered the lobster roll for the first time ever in my life. It was a very generous amount of lobster meat falling out of the bun, but I thought it would have mayo in it and maybe some other seasonings. It was a little on the dry side. My husband had the grouper sandwich and it was okay for him. The sweet potato fries were very good and there was plenty of them.

The view and atmosphere are excellent. i was disappointed with the food and service. I ordered the Island chicken sandwich, the bottom bun was wet, totally soaked! The chicken lacked flavor. My husband and daughter got the fish tacos, again fish lacked flavor as well as the beans and rice. I had serveral different people bring food and replace my soggy bun and they were not pleasant. Walking in and to restrooms employees did not greet you or smile. IF we go back it would be for drinks and sunset only!! Also VERY expensive for what you get! bill for 3 almost 75$ and only one Corona!

Met for dinner with some gym buds. Great ambiance, nice venue, good service . We had two different entrees, with two appetizers . Service was great. I could not believe that Manhattan Clam Chowder was one of the options , We had two great entrees and nice salad and appetizers . Had time to chat , catch up and enjoy each otherâs company, weâll be back.
